Chocohelden Wismar

Small chocolate factory with glass production, sales and café with a beautiful outdoor terrace and harbor view. In our chocolate factory in the old harbor of Wismar we produce our little "addictive makers", chocolate bars and many other things. Here, chocolate is still made by hand in the traditional way and packaged with lots of love. Of course, you can also put together your own chocolate bars with ingredients of your choice, which are then handmade for you in our glass production facility. Meanwhile, in our small café area, you can enjoy a cup of Choco coffee or a delicious drinking chocolate in many different varieties. Our "Gläschen Glück" (warm, liquid chocolate drawn directly from the chocolate machines and pimped up with a little crown of milk foam) or our legendary ice shakes are of course also available. ... and when the weather is good, you can see us on our outdoor terraces with views of the harbor and the sea.

Chocolate bars with ingredients of your choice, lots of little "addictive treats" and coffee and drinking chocolate specialties. In the small chocolate factory in Boltenhagen, you can create your own chocolate bars from over 30 different ingredients. You can also have your chocolate bar decorated with little pink sugar hearts, sweet stars or a mix of flowers, for example. Guests can find out what else is possible directly at the manufactory.

Sustainable bean-to-bar chocolates. From the region to the region, for the region! The chocolate is sustainably produced in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Born a. Darß and made from selected, certified, regional premium cocoa beans from agroforestry to handmade Grand Cru single-origin chocolates. The focus is on few and pure ingredients. No lecithins, foreign fats and other miscellaneous additives. Natural socio-economic and directly traded cocoa. The products are vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free.

Cider manufactory "Pomme de Meck"

Since 2016, the Cidermanufaktur has been producing cider (apple sparkling wine) and many other products made from apples (juice, apple rings, jelly, etc.) on a picturesque three-sided farm in Diemitz. Since 2024, we have also had a distillery for our fruit brandies. Visitors are always welcome. The Cidermanfaktur in Diemitz cultivates approx. 3.5 hectares of its own orchards (certified organic), but also collects apples from the surrounding area to make various apple products, in particular the apple cider "Pomme de Meck". Since 2024, the farm has also had a 250-liter distillery where fine fruit brandies are distilled. All products can be tasted and purchased on the farm or in the neighboring restaurant "Most&Kost - Kultur am See". We are also happy to show you our facilities and production processes. You can have your food conveniently delivered to your home, pick it up yourself for consumption on the go or simply take a seat in the restaurant area of City Pizza and enjoy your meal.

Citymarina

As soon as you arrive at the Citymarina, you can see the historic silhouette of the city on Strealsund. The UNESCO World Heritage city presents itself with Hanseatic brick Gothic, Swedish relics and imposing Baroque architecture. Less than a nautical mile from the old town, you are moored right next to the traditional sailing ship GORCH FOCK I. The Citymarina is a facility with 300 guest berths on modern floating jetties with water and electricity connections. The sanitary facilities can be used with the aid of a deposit key system. Permanent berths are available and winter berths can be arranged. All services and repairs are arranged by the harbour master. A breakfast service is also offered. The Citymarina is located on the western shore of the Strelasund. The harbor offers protection against the north wind and another breakwater protects against the east wind and prevents swell. The Citymarina Stralsund is located at Seestraße 14a.

The Commandantenhus was built when Stralsund was still Swedish. It is located on the Old Market Square. The Commandant's House was built in 1748-51 as one of the Swedish government buildings. It served as the administrative headquarters of the garrison commander. From 1950 to 1990, the building was used by the military for cultural purposes and was renovated in 2002 / 2003 after a long period of vacancy. A replica of the coat of arms in the gable triangle, which had been removed in the 1950s, was reattached to the Commandant's House in 2003.

GDR Everyday Life Museum Malchow

The building was inaugurated in 1957 as a "movie palace", but today presents objects from times gone by. The former cinema and event building now houses a museum on everyday GDR history. On December 14, 1957, the "Film-Palast" was ceremoniously opened and inaugurated with a screening of the Soviet film "The Prologue". The painter and graphic artist Sieghard Dittner, who had created a mural for the entrance hall, was invited as a guest of honor. Since 2008, his works can be admired in the art museum at the monastery in the island town of Malchow. Since October 1999, the exhibition has been constantly expanded and restaged. In the meantime, visitors can experience everyday life in the GDR in many different ways and find interesting information on a wide range of topics. Whether cinema, weddings, vacations or technology, there is something for every passion. The expansion of the building and the large collection make it possible to constantly change the exhibition. Visitors can now even be transported back to childhood and take a curious look at various living areas from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
