Alter Forsthof 5
17209 Zislow
Opening hours
The Café Hufschlag on the Zislow horse farm is a cozy retreat in the lake district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - not far from the Baltic Sea coast and also ideally accessible for holidaymakers exploring the region between Rostock and the Mecklenburg Lake District. Homemade cakes, changing soups and a warm atmosphere make the café a worthwhile stopover on the way or directly as an excursion destination.
Home-baked & hearty cuisine at Café Hufschlag Zislow
The café offers guests freshly prepared cakes and tarts, a variety of ice creams and hot and cold drinks every day. Those who prefer something savory will find a welcome change in the changing soup menu. The interior offers space for around 30 people and is lovingly designed - with small niches such as a reading corner with a rocking horse, which particularly appeal to families with children. When the weather is nice, the outdoor area with a direct view of the paddocks invites you to linger.
Zislow horse farm - a natural experience for the whole family
The active horse farm with several paddocks, an indoor riding arena and two outdoor riding arenas is located right next to the café. Guests can watch horses being prepared for riding lessons from the café. In addition to horses and ponies, the farm is also home to donkeys, dogs, cats and chickens - a close-to-nature experience that appeals to children and adults alike. The café is a particularly good place for parents to wait during their children's riding lessons.
Cultural events & private events at Café Hufschlag
The café hosts small cultural events at irregular intervals, including piano concerts and readings. If you would like to use the café for a private party or your own event, you can do so by prior arrangement. Café Hufschlag thus combines everyday gastronomy with a small cultural program in a rural atmosphere.
