Gudrun Seidel Studio

Lambrechtshagen

On display are acrylic paintings, watercolors, pastels, ceramics, and sculpted bottles. Even as a child, I enjoyed painting and doing crafts. College, my career, and raising children left me with little time for creative pursuits, yet I’ve been a member of various ceramics groups since 1980. Upon retiring, I devoted myself passionately to painting. I took classes at the adult education center, went on painting trips, and read specialized literature. Opening Hours Pentecost: Sat & Sun 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Studio on Lake Gothen

Studio on Lake Gothen

Seebad Bansin

The studio is located in the seaside resort of Bansin on the picturesque Gothensee. In the gallery, guests can view and purchase a wide variety of colorful paintings, most of which have a maritime theme. The studio also offers intuitive painting classes and painting trips, both in groups and as one-on-one coaching sessions. At the studio, situated on the picturesque Lake Gothen in the seaside resort of Bansin, visitors can (by prior telephone arrangement and, of course, during the KunstOffen event over the Pentecost holidays) view and purchase an extensive selection of paintings in a wide variety of formats and motifs (surreal, atmospheric, maritime, nature-inspired, figurative...) by artist Heike Dittrich. Advice on framing the paintings is also available. If you have a very personal request for a painting—for example, your favorite spot on Usedom, your favorite beach, or one of the beautiful piers, etc.—you can also schedule a private appointment. Those who would like to engage in a creative—and relaxing—activity on their own can participate in one of the intuitive painting classes or painting trips. During the warmer months, the intuitive, healing painting sessions take place outdoors, usually right on the beach (e.g., on the cliffs of Bansin, at the Hohe Ufer in Ahrenshoop, on Rügen near the Königsstuhl...). You can also book in-depth one-on-one painting coaching here. This is ideal if you’re in the midst of a process of change and transformation, moving toward your true calling and, ultimately, your true self.

Studio for porcelain and ceramics

Studio for porcelain and ceramics

Borrentin

The porcelain studio is located in the small village of Gnevezow, on the border between Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania, not far from Lake Kummerow. Unique pieces and small series of porcelain have been created here since fall 2014. My aim is to give my products a regional connection. I live in a rural area, love nature and spend a lot of time outdoors. The idyllic landscape and the tranquillity associated with it are what define Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for me, and I want these feelings to be reflected in my porcelain. The nature around me is a direct source of inspiration. Stones, flowers, fruit and grain serve as models and provide surfaces, patterns and structures. Combined with the functionality of porcelain, this results in vases, bowls, lamps and jewelry. Just drop by the studio and take a look over my shoulder as I work.

Studio in the enchanted garden

Studio in the enchanted garden

Gorow

The exhibition "Painting and Poetry", in the painter and architect's self-designed studio, shows the becoming and passing of life and the parallels between man and nature. The painter and architect's self-designed studio is located in the middle of an expanse of water, surrounded by water lilies. The copper roof, with its tower figure "Letting dreams fly" and the entrance door of the house with the bronze relief of a dreamy girl, provide an insight into the soul of the temple of art, and many small figurative details on and in the building also form the framework for the artist's pictures. She is interested in the coming and passing of life, love and the parallels between nature and man. These are pictures of nature and her home town of Rostock that reveal poetry. Just as nature changes with the changing seasons, people change through their experiences and the city changes too. Art is the sound of the soul. Her working credo is New Romantic Realism.

Jürgens Studio-Gallery

Jürgens Studio-Gallery

Wismar

You love painting. Then let us surprise you. Atelier-Galerie Jürgens is located in the south of Wismar, just a 10-minute walk from the market square. Atelier-Galerie Jürgens is located at Goethestraße 4, just a 10-minute walk from Wismar's market square. Manfred W. Jürgens, a representative of New Realism, presents a selection of his works in bright rooms and provides a glimpse of panel paintings currently in progress. In a world of chronic over-staging, Jürgens is in search of the concrete, of precision and clarity. When a pictorial idea flows through the soul via the experience in the eye and finds new formulation via the brush on the canvas, then that is pure painting! Fashions and trends are ignored. Realistic painting aims to depict things in life precisely as they are, without embellishment. But what is realism anyway? Experts argue about this question. After all, no matter how "lifelike" the artist may depict something, his painting always bears his own signature. All painting is an abstraction, and so is realism. Portraits of people and animals, still lifes and seascapes - deceptively beautiful and often disturbing. Opening hours: Jan.-Dec.: Mon-Sun 2-7 p.m.

Studio house of the Kulturmühle Wismar e.V.

Studio house of the Kulturmühle Wismar e.V.

Wismar

Painting with anything that works: coffee, surface smoother, toilet paper, acrylic paints, synthetic resin binder, linseed oil, turpentine substitute, pigments. I am on the trail of the event. The impulse that makes me want to paint. Sometimes I pick something up, put it on the canvas - and it prompts me to do more. I could slow myself down to follow a previously conceived idea, but the idea is from yesterday, is no longer important, so I follow the new idea. Sometimes the idea and the new idea come very close and sometimes the idea dissolves into a new expanse. So every picture has its own story, its own path and its own context. Images convey experiences and connect emotions. That is why I would like to take you into the world of these pictures. Opening hours Jan-Dec: Fr+Sa 16-19 o'clock
