From the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Viewpoint, a plateau-like chalk outcrop, you’ll have a wonderful view of the chalk formations that drop steeply down to the sea. In 1981, approximately 150,000 cubic meters of chalk rock collapsed here. The sea has not yet completely eroded the rock, so you can still see a distinct white color in the water. The lookout point was named after the historian, writer, and journalist Ernst Moritz Arndt.
