This playground is located near the tourist information office in Börgerende and is idyllically situated under many shady trees. The playground offers lots of fun for children of all ages and is a welcome change. The playground is equipped with various play equipment, such as a climbing and sliding tower that ends in a large sandpit. There is a bird's nest swing suitable for small children and a swing for older children. There is a beam seesaw and also a small spring seesaw, which is located in a second sandpit. For the little ones we have a slide tower with steps and a slide, a table tennis table for older children and benches for adults to sit on. The highlight of the playground is the ropeway which is used by young and old children alike.

Playground Seglerhafen Rechlin

The playground at the Seglerhafen is not only a place to play, but also a place of community. Families and friends come together here to spend time together and enjoy each other's company. While the children make new friends and develop social skills, parents can relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the Seglerhafen. The safety of our young visitors is of course our top priority. The playground is regularly maintained and checked for safety standards so that parents can let their children play without worry.

Restrooms and food service facilities are located in the immediate vicinity. Trash cans are available.

Playground on Rapsweg in Rethwisch

The playground is located on Rapsweg in Rethwisch. It is equipped with a climbing and sliding tower and offers various climbing options. The slide tower is embedded in a huge sandpit, so that digging enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. Right next to it, there are two soccer goals for sports enthusiasts, so they can also have a kick-about here. There is a mini bird's nest swing for younger children. There are benches where you can relax at the end of the day.

Playground at Schulkamp

Children's playground in the Teterow city park in the immediate vicinity of Schulkamp and the historic city center Ropeway, slide, climbing frame, swings, sandpit - simply everything you need for a visit to the playground can be found in the area in the city park. It begins in front of the castle island and ends at Fritz-Reuter-Straße in Mirow. At the time, the mayor asked children and teenagers in the town of Mirow for ideas for this play trail. The SportFliegerClub Greifswald e.V. is based at Schmoldow Airfield. Schmoldow Airfield is located approximately 15 km south of Greifswald. This is where the SportFliegerClub Greifswald e.V. is based. Here, you can complete training for gliders, motor gliders, and ultralight aircraft. Glider training is also available for children aged 14 and older. Another offering includes sightseeing flights over Greifswald and the surrounding area in a glider, ultralight aircraft, or motor glider. The airfield also features a parachute landing area.

Sports boat and marina Breege

One of the oldest harbors on Rügen with stately captain's houses and an extensive range of services. The harbor town of Breege is located where the Rügen peninsula of Wittow is connected to the narrow headland of the Schaabe. Many stately captain's houses from the 18th and 19th centuries are still a reminder of the time when the inhabitants set sail from here. Galleasses, brigantines and schooners no longer set sail today, but the port has developed into a modern water sports center on the Breeger Bodden. Some fishermen still go out today. However, with a solid range of services and the numerous maritime vacation accommodations nearby, the harbour is primarily of interest to leisure captains. St. Bartholomew's Church

Even from a distance, the tower of St. Bartholomaei Church in the Hanseatic city of Demmin greets visitors. Construction of the church began in the late 13th or early 14th century. The brick building was redesigned in 1867 by none other than the Prussian architect Friedrich August Stüler. With a tower nearly 100 meters high, the church is one of the largest city churches in the Western Pomerania region. Its name derives from Bartholomew, a disciple of Jesus—also known as Nathanael in the New Testament—who was venerated by immigrant settlers as the patron saint of their guilds. The interior of the three-nave hall church is unusually bright and is currently being restored according to Stüler’s 1867 plans. Notable features inside include Neo-Gothic frescoes and stained-glass windows depicting scenes from the Night of St. Bartholomew. Upon entering, visitors’ attention is drawn to life-size plaster sculptures in the choir area as well as the Stüler pulpit. The pulpit was modeled after the shape of the stone tower and features five statues: those of Bishop Otto of Bamberg, the Pomeranian Duke Wartislaw I, Alwinius (the church’s first priest), Martin Luther, and Johannes Bugenhagen. A permanent exhibition tells the story of Otto von Bamberg—who stopped in Demmin—and his missionary journey. In 2011, the church celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Buchholz organ.

The vicarage of the Protestant church of St. Godehard in Kessin is a picturesque ensemble of historic, partly thatched houses just a few minutes south of the Rostock city limits. The vicarage is located in front of the church.

St. John's Church in Rerik

One of the state’s gems of Brick Gothic architecture is the parish church in the Baltic Sea resort of Rerik, which was built between 1250 and 1270. St. John’s Church in Rerik is an early Gothic structure from the second half of the 13th century. Built on a fieldstone base, the brick building is a two-bay hall church with a square choir. The four-gabled tower is topped by an octagonal spire. Among the oldest furnishings are the altar shrine, the triumphal cross, and an early Gothic granite baptismal font. The colorful paintings, which extend throughout the entire interior, from the chancel to the nave, are particularly striking. The church painter Hinrich Grewe created these in 1668. Between 1970 and 1976, his work was uncovered and restored. During the restoration, remnants of a Gothic painting from the 13th century were uncovered. The renowned German painter and object artist of international standing, Prof. Günther Uecker, had his specially created work “Spirale” auctioned off in 2012 to benefit the church in Rerik. The proceeds were originally intended to be used to recast a bell destroyed during the war. In fact, two new bells were consecrated at Easter 2013. Both bells were artistically designed by Uecker. Now three bells ring again in St. John’s Church in Rerik. Also worth seeing are the large organ with 1,056 pipes, the baptismal angel from the mid-18th century that is still in use today, and a four-part hourglass used to measure the length of sermons. Climb the 89 steps up the church tower, from which you’ll have a sweeping view of Rerik, the Salzhaff, and the Baltic Sea.

St. John's Church in Malchin

During a major city fire in 1397, the former Romanesque-style church building was almost completely destroyed. To expedite the construction of a new church, Johann, Bishop of Garda and auxiliary bishop to the absent Johann von Camin, granted an indulgence “for the reconstruction and furnishing” of the burned-down St. John’s Church in Malchin. The new church building was consecrated as early as 1440. It was built as a three-nave Gothic basilica. The original Gothic spire fell in 1648 and was then replaced by the Baroque dome, which was modified again in 1897. The Gothic church is a symbol whose defining features are, on the one hand, the beautifully articulated and exposed structure of the load-bearing and connecting architectural elements, and, on the other hand, the treatment of light and the “transparency of the walls.” Our church—a space of tranquility with large windows opening onto the outside world. The altarpiece dates from 1824. The painting depicting the Crucifixion of Christ was created by Wilhelm Krüger. The surrounding columns are made of Stucco-Lustro, a marble substitute. At the top stand the apostles Peter and John. The Crucifixion of Christ is framed by the church windows to the left and right, which were installed in 1902–03. Beneath the two windows are two old tombstones, the one on the left depicting a canon of Güstrow, Nikolaus Breyde. The tombstone on the right commemorates Dr. Johannes Sadenwather, a distinguished mayor and chronicler of Malchin, along with his wife. The Baroque organ facade comes from an old organ dating from 1780 and was retained when the Mecklenburg organ builder Friedrich Friese built a new organ for the church in 1877. The organ has two manuals, a pedal, and 28 stops. The Mecklenburg coat of arms on the gallery commemorates the provincial assemblies held in Malchin. In the Chapel of St. Mary, above the 19th-century Lütkemüller organ, the 15th-century Triumphal Cross group is preserved, which once stood above the steps leading to the sanctuary of the main church. The greatest treasure of our church is the 15th-century Marian altar. This work originally served as the main altar following the rededication of our church in 1440. At the center of the carved front panel stands the Coronation of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Flanking her are 36 saints, including the twelve apostles. The outer panels of the altar wings depict scenes from the life of Jesus, his birth and passion, as well as John the Baptist and legends from the life of John the Evangelist.   Technical dimensions of the church: Height of the nave: 22 meters Length: 42 meters Height of the church tower: 65 meters
