Thanks to our own fishing fleet and close links with local fishermen, we bring the treasures of the Baltic Sea and Bodden waters directly ashore. Depending on the season, you can expect regional classics such as herring, turbot and pike, complemented by the finest specialties from all over the world. The journey couldn't be shorter: the catch is taken directly from the quayside to our in-house manufactory, which has been synonymous with first-class craftsmanship since 1991. The port town of Sassnitz borders the famous chalk coast to the north and the bay of Prorer Wiek to the south-east The National Park Center at the Königsstuhl offers interesting things for young and old. Children are introduced to the exhibition by two figures, Mimi and Krax. The small animal park shows native animals and has a playground. A "Children's fun" bonus booklet can be purchased from the tourist information office. This provides an overview of children's activities on the island of Rügen. Boat trips along the chalk coast are offered in the town harbor of Sassnitz, and day trips to Sweden are possible from the ferry port.
