The port town of Sassnitz borders the famous chalk coast to the north and the bay of Prorer Wiek to the south-east The National Park Center at the Königsstuhl offers interesting things for young and old. Children are introduced to the exhibition by two figures, Mimi and Krax. The small animal park shows native animals and has a playground.
