Art at the Alte Försterei Dance School in Wieck

Vibrant Paintings and Handicrafts The exhibition features a vibrant mix of abstract and realistic paintings by three female artists, as well as various smaller creative projects. The three female artists from the Martens family are exhibiting their collected works together for the first time. The overarching theme of “joie de vivre” is expressed through colorful scenes and a tribute to nature. The rich splendor of colors and the wonders of nature are their greatest sources of inspiration. This love of nature is translated onto canvas through brush and paint and depicted in an expressive manner. The exhibition features paintings in various styles that complement one another in their motifs and colors. Fantasy worlds are created with bold colors that invite visitors to dream. The exhibition features numerous paintings as well as various smaller handicrafts and creative projects that complement the exhibition. Coffee, tea, and cake will also be available for visitors to enjoy while they linger. A creative table will be set up for children to let their creativity run wild.

A unicorn made of papier-mâché and colorful watercolors and acrylic paintings that seem to come from dreams. They combine fantasy with profound themes and invite you to marvel and reflect. My artistic work encompasses various forms of expression that are characterized by fantasy and personal reflection. One outstanding work is a unicorn made of papier-mâché, designed in the size of a small horse. It deliberately shows only the front, which creates a special, inviting presence. This sculpture is a reminder that miracles are possible in life and encourages us to rejoice in the small, inexplicable moments. The photograph of the unicorn is displayed on canvas so that the images inspire the viewer to wonder and reflect. In addition to sculpture, I dedicate myself to painting, especially watercolors and acrylic paintings. These works reflect my thoughts, feelings and personal experiences. The paintings are often lively and colorful, but at the same time seem to have sprung from dreams. Behind the playful and light compositions are deeper themes that preoccupy me, such as dealing with my own roots or emotional processes. The watercolor and acrylic paintings invite the viewer to take their time and contemplate the works in peace. They offer space for one's own thoughts and interpretations and create an atmosphere in which the moment of pause and reflection takes center stage. My works are not intended to convey a clear message, but rather to invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the worlds depicted and discover their own emotions and thoughts.

Demonstrations, activities and exhibitions by 30 artists and craftspeople from the region in the fields of wood, painting, textiles, leather, jewelry, light, ceramics, metal, paper, dance, music In addition to the above-mentioned exhibitions of around 30 artists and craftspeople on an area of 250 square meters, there will be numerous activities. In the "No Cheese" gallery, visitors can make their own macramé jewelry with Ruth Aparicio Duque and watch wood designer Georg Heilmann create wood. In the "dieKUNSTdasWERK" gallery, visitors can also watch artist Ana Sojor create a painting, metal designer Michael Schimmel cut Baltic Sea stones and leather designer Catrin Freuschle sew leather in the traditional way. In the small but exquisite gallery "the spinning wheel", Martina Peters explains and shows visitors everything about the production of her wool products. The intricate manual work is demonstrated using a spinning wheel and weaving frame. In addition, the flamenco dancer Ana Sojor will offer a brief insight into the art of flamenco dance through short workshops. Other guests include the textile artist Asta Rutzke with an extra exhibition of her textile art and the blacksmith Frank Alexy, who will be demonstrating traditional blacksmithing with hammer and anvil at an open fire. Usedom Art Gallery

The Usedom Art Cabinet is located in Benz on Usedom, next to the medieval church that the German-American Bauhaus artist Lyonel Feininger (1871–1956) often visited and depicted in his art until his death. The church in Benz was the artist’s favorite, second only to the church in Gelmeroda near Weimar. The Kunst-Kabinett is located next to the village church, which Lyonel Feininger (1871–1956) designed on numerous occasions. The Usedom Art Cabinet is the only place on the island where unique works by the famous Bauhaus artist are on permanent display... along with a 1897 Cleveland, Ohio, bicycle. Lyonel Feininger used a bicycle of this brand to explore Usedom and find his subjects. It is therefore no surprise that the Usedom Feininger Bicycle Route begins at the church. The gallery also presents rotating exhibitions of paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists.

KunstgARTen Pasewalk

At KunstgARTen Pasewalk you will find contemporary art and exhibitions of various installations. Via Klosterstraße and past the garage complexes you reach the Kunstgarten Pasewalk, which is located directly on the Uecker and in the immediate vicinity of the water hiking rest area. The garden was developed in 2005 on a 5-hectare meadow as part of the design of the Uecker floodplain landscape to promote contemporary art and garden culture.

The Kunstwasserwerk combines exhibition rooms and spaces as well as studios for painters, graphic artists, sculptors and photographers under one roof. The Kunst-Wasser-Werk e. V. association thus enables an excellent re-use of a (partially listed) object of Schwerin's industrial history. Schwerin artists have found a creative home in the old waterworks in Schwerin-Neumühle: studios, workshops and exhibition spaces are available for them. 9 studios and workshops in the various buildings are currently in permanent use by artists of different genres (painting, sculpture, jewelry, graphics, photography). Artist groups, workshop participants and painting groups are regular guests at KWW and use the workshop building and the open spaces for creative courses. Exhibitions and events regularly attract an interested public to the premises. Art exhibitions by regional and national artists are regularly held in the gallery rooms in the old main building and the former pump house. Since the opening of the Former Pump House as an exhibition and event hall with a concert by the Schwerin Singakademie, concerts, theater and readings have been held in the Kunstwasserwerk to accompany the exhibitions. From classical chamber music and jazz in the pump house to electro beats as an open-air concert, the association organizes musical highlights on its own or in cooperation with other sponsors.

Early Works—Early Artists: The R. Konzack Collection. This exhibition aims to document the development of the collection from 1989 to approximately 2005. The core of the collection consists of the first works that Reinhard Conny Konzack acquired between 1989 and approximately 2005. Initially, these were mostly occasional purchases from artist friends. Later, additional works by both national and international artists were added through purchases at galleries and art fairs. The first artists were Dirk Sommer, Peter Buechler, and Jürgen Zumbrunnen. This was followed by acquisitions from the artist couple Lilli Engel and Raffael Rheinsberg, the Potsdam artists Reiner Fürstenberg and Stephan Velten, as well as the Berlin artists Matthias Deumlich, Manfred Dörner, Roman Lipski, Angelika Margull, Gabriele Oelschläger, and the sculptor Paul Pfarr, among others. The artist Frank Kamp (1961-2020) bequeathed his house and artistic legacy to the association on the condition that the house and grounds be made permanently accessible as a public cultural site. There are many people living in the region who are artistically active in various ways. With the Kunsthaus, we offer an intimate platform for all kinds of art. This includes lectures on various topics, readings and poetry slams - a stage on a small scale, even for beginners. Works of art by regional artists will find their place in an exhibition. The offer also applies to "newcomers" who have not yet had the opportunity to show their work in order to draw attention to their creations. The Kunsthaus is also offered as a place for artists in residence. The well-equipped studio enables a variety of artistic work in the tranquillity of the village of Wietzow.

Remplin Art Chapel

The Remplin Art Chapel is located in the historic village of Remplin on the B 104 federal road between Teterow and Malchin. In the Remplin Art Chapel you will find a deconsecrated Baroque-style chapel in half-timbered construction with a mansard roof and lantern from the 17th century. It was built on the foundations of a collapsed manor chapel from the 16th century and was designed as a chapel within the large castle ensemble. After its construction, however, it was repurposed as a storage room for agricultural equipment and as a stable. In the years that followed, it was used for various purposes. In the last years of the GDR, for example, it was used as a gymnasium. After that, an antique shop was established here. This resulted in changes to the interior that are still visible today. A gallery of paintings by contemporary artists and a small café have now moved in. There are sculptures, fountains and other art objects around the chapel.

As a shared studio run by Stefan Reiter and Heilke Freia Heller, Kunstkonsum combines artistic practice with the exhibition and sale of regional art. Kunstkonsum is the shared studio of Stefan Reiter and Heilke Freia Heller and is located at Badstüberstraße 85/87, on the corner of Lange Straße, in the historic city center of Barth. The studio-gallery combines artistic production, presentation, and art sales in one location and is an integral part of the regional art scene. The focus is on the individual works of the two artists: Heilke Freia Heller works in the fields of abstract painting, collage, and jewelry design. Her works emerge from the interplay of color, texture, and layering, and range from free form to materiality and expression. Stefan Reiter works in photography and painting. His works combine a minimalist visual language with technical precision and a keen sense of detail and materials. Kunstkonsum is primarily a studio, though it opens its doors to visitors at regular intervals. Exhibitions, presentations, small events, and gatherings take place here from time to time. Visitors have the opportunity to view current works directly where they are created and to discover and purchase art in an intimate atmosphere. As part of cultural life in Barth, Kunstkonsum is embedded in a network of galleries, arts and crafts markets, and local cultural initiatives. The Ahrenshoop Art Museum is an exhibition, meeting and research center for the artists' village with permanent and changing exhibitions as well as numerous events - also for families. In regular workshops, children and young people explore the museum, discover outstanding works in the exhibitions and create their own works. Paul Palette, the mascot of the Ahrenshoop artists' colony, is also there. Malchow Monastery Art Museum

The Malchow Monastery Art Museum is located in historically renovated rooms in which works of art are presented in their uniqueness. The history of regional artists becomes a tangible experience. In the wing that once housed the refectory of Malchow Monastery, the works and study of Malchow-born artist Rudolf Gahlbeck (1895 - 1972), artist Sieghard Dittner (1924 - 2002), who lived in Malchow for many years, Malchow-born artist Friedrich-Franz Pingel (1904 - 1994) and Peter Hesse (1921 - 2008) are now accessible to the general public. Neubrandenburg Art Collection

The Neubrandenburg Art Collection is the only museum of 20th- and 21st-century visual arts in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. It features two exhibition floors in an accessible, air-conditioned Baroque building with a new wing. The two permanent exhibitions on the upper floor are on view year-round. The exhibition *The Municipal Art Collection (1890–1945)* is on view in the cabinet. The Municipal Art Collection owes its founding in 1890 to Henry Stoll; it was significantly expanded in 1911 by August Schmidt. In 1920, the Municipal Art Collection moved into the south wing of the Ducal Palace. At the end of April 1945, this palace burned to the ground. Most of the art treasures were presumably moved to a safe location shortly before the fire; their whereabouts remain unknown to this day. In 2006, archaeological excavations on the market square uncovered around 150 mostly shattered porcelain pieces and fragments of small bronze sculptures that had survived the fire and the collapse of the palace. Several pieces, including numerous charming porcelain figurines from Meissen, have already been restored. Since its reestablishment in 1982, a collection of contemporary German art has been built up, comprising some 7,500 works. The collection is dominated by works of high sensual and symbolic expression, characterized by a painterly refinement. Currently on view in the exhibition *Der glückliche Griff* are paintings, objects, and sculptures by, among others, Theo Balden, Jürgen Brodwolf, Angela M. Flaig, Wieland Förster, Bernd Hahn, Veit Hofmann, Hans Jüchser, Konrad Knebel, Bernd Kommnick, Michael Morgner, Herta Müller, Max Neumann, Otto Niemeyer-Holstein, Theodor Rosenhauer, Daniel Spoerri, Werner Stötzer, Strawalde, Karlheinz Wenzel, and Michael Wirkner. The ground floor hosts temporary exhibitions featuring primarily contemporary artists.

Spa and healing forest Heringsdorf

Europe's 1st spa and healing forest offers a unique natural environment. Visitors can enjoy a walk through the tree-filled forest, try out the numerous exercise machines or attend one of the various events held directly in the forest. In 2017, the first certified European spa and healing forest opened in the Baltic seaside resort of Heringsdorf on the island of Usedom. The forest is free of charge for all visitors and offers a place for rest and relaxation for all ages. The main path through the forest is also barrier-free. Thanks to the unique combination of oxygen-rich forest air and salty sea air, the spa and healing forest has a special climate that has a particularly positive effect on respiratory diseases and cardiovascular problems. Numerous events take place throughout the year, such as tree readings, special therapy hikes or moonlight walks. Further information on the events can be found in the Kaiserbäder events calendar. In 2021, the 1st children's healing forest was also opened, which brings our little ones closer to the topics of nature and health in a playful way.

A real seaside resort also has a spa park where guests can stroll and find relaxation. The spa park in Binz was laid out in 1926 and is located opposite the Haus des Gastes. The one and a half hectare area is home to old trees, rhododendrons, specimen trees and roses. Other special features of the park include sandstone sculptures, various fitness equipment, a Kneipp pool, a chess board and a playground with climbing and skill equipment. The "Angels, Light & Sea" Christmas market, which is always held on the 3rd weekend in Advent, also creates a particularly atmospheric ambience. In addition to the brightly lit spa gardens, visitors can enjoy Christmas delicacies, contemplative music, an angel café, children's railroad, carousel and much more.

Königshörn spa park in Glowe

The Glower Kurpark with its circular path along the cliff. In July 2010, the Glow spa park was opened right next to the spa clinic. Visitors will not only find beautiful plantings and an adventure playground on the circular path along the cliff not far from the Königshörn, but also granite sculptures by sculptor Mile Prerad, including the "Eagle's View" towards Cape Arkona and the mother seal with her offspring. Other Baltic Sea animals are sculpted in the open air. Mile Prerad has his studio in Lobkevitz on Wittow. The Serbian artist, who has lived in Germany since 1966, has lived and worked here since the early 1990s.

Spa park with Kneipp facility

Centrally located in the town of Feldberg, a new spa park has been created in recent years on the site of the old town park: a park that you can discover with all your senses. You can either stroll along the banks of the Haussee lake or explore the Kneipp facilities and then relax in the grass labyrinth. At the heart of the Feldberg lake landscape, one of the youngest and most beautiful moraine landscapes in Europe, right in the village of Feldberg on the Haussee, the Feldberg spa park has attractions to appeal to all the senses: The Kneipp facility, which ties in with the long spa tradition of the lake landscape, the 35 m diameter grass labyrinth, which delights young and old alike. Another interesting feature of the park is the barefoot path, which lets you feel nature directly under your soles. For the eyes, the hydrangea paradise is a meadow that is particularly beautiful from June to August. The fact that Feldberg is a place that has literally always been built close to the water is not concealed by the spa park. Two viewing footbridges, one 23 m and the other 16 m long, create a direct connection to the Haussee lake. The benches are a great place to linger, especially when a family of ducks stops by. Especially in the summer months, couples can get married on the wedding jetty in the Feldberg spa gardens.
