Our kitesurfing area is one of the best in the whole of Germany, as it is shallow and therefore makes learning much easier. We place great emphasis on safety, which is why we provide you with all the equipment you need for your kitesurfing course. We only train with the latest equipment and have very experienced kite instructors who do everything they can to ensure that you can learn in a relaxed atmosphere. Even in the best conditions, we are not overcrowded, so we have plenty of space on the water. Whether young or old, with us your kite course is guaranteed to be a success. We pick you up where you are and respond to you individually! Depending on how much time you have and how intensively you want to get started, we have a course offer ready for you.
Sonnenkamp Monastery

The monastery church with the oldest stained glass windows in northern Germany, the provost's building and the bell tower are all buildings that have been preserved. The town of Neukloster lies to the east of Wismar on Lake Neukloster. Only the monastery church, the bell tower and the provost building remain of the former Benedictine monastery, now the Sonnenkamp monastery, which was founded there in 1219 under the name Campus Solis. The monastery was secularized in 1555 as part of the Reformation. Large parts of the grounds subsequently fell into disrepair. However, a visit to the monastery church is still worthwhile today. Here visitors will find some of the oldest stained glass in northern Germany. They were created around 1250, depict various saints and are located in the choir's group of three windows. Various herbs grow in the monastery garden, which is modeled on the one in St. Gallen in Switzerland. The altar of the Virgin Mary was created around 1500 by an unknown master. The carved predella consists of parts of another altar and is significantly older (around 1420). It depicts scenes and figures of saints. The monastery church also has a bell tower, which was built at the beginning of the 15th century and originally had three bells. One bell was lost in the Second World War, but was recast in May 2002 so that Neukloster now has a full peal of bells again. The bell tower attracts visitors with exhibitions and the monastery church with its art treasures. The stepped gable of the provostry is a special gem of brick Gothic architecture.
District Agricultural Museum Dorf Mecklenburg

The district agricultural museum in Dorf Mecklenburg offers many opportunities to get to grips with the West Mecklenburg region. The permanent exhibition, which was completely redesigned in 2011, focuses on the recent history of rural development. The museum is located in Dorf Mecklenburg. This is where the Slavic castle once stood, which gave the village and ultimately the state its name. Large-scale technology can be seen in the spacious open-air exhibition. The museum hall houses a permanent exhibition and special exhibitions, a service area and sanitary facilities. A tour takes visitors on a journey through regional history from 1820 (the abolition of serfdom in the Duchy of Mecklenburg) to the recent past.

Emotional, playful, captivating: This is how Jens Kubitz’s works come across, as he invites us this year on a brief journey through the treasures of his art. Through his down-to-earth nature and his unpretentious approach to art, he manages to create vibrant compositions that captivate viewers and allow them to revel in their emotions. “If people like it, then that’s good,” he says of his art, “the rest doesn’t interest me.” It is precisely this direct and honest trait that makes his art so special. Art between dream and reality

A unicorn made of papier-mâché and colorful watercolors and acrylic paintings that seem to come from dreams. They combine fantasy with profound themes and invite you to marvel and reflect. My artistic work encompasses various forms of expression that are characterized by fantasy and personal reflection. One outstanding work is a unicorn made of papier-mâché, designed in the size of a small horse. It deliberately shows only the front, which creates a special, inviting presence. This sculpture is a reminder that miracles are possible in life and encourages us to rejoice in the small, inexplicable moments. The photograph of the unicorn is displayed on canvas so that the images inspire the viewer to wonder and reflect. In addition to sculpture, I dedicate myself to painting, especially watercolors and acrylic paintings. These works reflect my thoughts, feelings and personal experiences. The paintings are often lively and colorful, but at the same time seem to have sprung from dreams. Behind the playful and light compositions are deeper themes that preoccupy me, such as dealing with my own roots or emotional processes. The watercolor and acrylic paintings invite the viewer to take their time and contemplate the works in peace. They offer space for one's own thoughts and interpretations and create an atmosphere in which the moment of pause and reflection takes center stage. My works are not intended to convey a clear message, but rather to invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the worlds depicted and discover their own emotions and thoughts.
Art and Culture House Alte Molkerei Klütz

Demonstrations, activities and exhibitions by 30 artists and craftspeople from the region in the fields of wood, painting, textiles, leather, jewelry, light, ceramics, metal, paper, dance, music In addition to the above-mentioned exhibitions of around 30 artists and craftspeople on an area of 250 square meters, there will be numerous activities. In the "No Cheese" gallery, visitors can make their own macramé jewelry with Ruth Aparicio Duque and watch wood designer Georg Heilmann create wood. In the "dieKUNSTdasWERK" gallery, visitors can also watch artist Ana Sojor create a painting, metal designer Michael Schimmel cut Baltic Sea stones and leather designer Catrin Freuschle sew leather in the traditional way. In the small but exquisite gallery "the spinning wheel", Martina Peters explains and shows visitors everything about the production of her wool products. The intricate manual work is demonstrated using a spinning wheel and weaving frame. In addition, the flamenco dancer Ana Sojor will offer a brief insight into the art of flamenco dance through short workshops. Other guests include the textile artist Asta Rutzke with an extra exhibition of her textile art and the blacksmith Frank Alexy, who will be demonstrating traditional blacksmithing with hammer and anvil at an open fire. In addition to coffee and cake, the event café "La Lecheria" will be serving juice from Johann Volk's "Klützer Mosterei". Early Works—Early Artists: The R. Konzack Collection. This exhibition aims to document the development of the collection from 1989 to approximately 2005. The core of the collection consists of the first works that Reinhard Conny Konzack acquired between 1989 and approximately 2005. Initially, these were mostly occasional purchases from artist friends. Later, additional works by both national and international artists were added through purchases at galleries and art fairs. The first artists were Dirk Sommer, Peter Buechler, and Jürgen Zumbrunnen. This was followed by acquisitions from the artist couple Lilli Engel and Raffael Rheinsberg, the Potsdam artists Reiner Fürstenberg and Stephan Velten, as well as the Berlin artists Matthias Deumlich, Manfred Dörner, Roman Lipski, Angelika Margull, Gabriele Oelschläger, and the sculptor Paul Pfarr, among others. In my studio “Lebensfarben,” I create abstract paintings that invite viewers to discover their own inner world and delve into the depths of their own feelings and thoughts. This art is more than a visual experience—it speaks to the soul, evokes emotions, and opens up new perspectives. My work is inspired by the beauty and diversity of life, by the tender and powerful moments that shape us. Every painting created in the studio is unique and reflects the diverse facets of human experience—from soft tones and harmonious color gradients to powerful, expressive forms. The works invite you to let yourself be guided by the dynamism and energy of the colors and to feel a deeper connection to your own self. I believe that art gives us the opportunity to see ourselves and our world in new ways. It opens doors to emotions that often remain hidden in everyday life and creates space for new ideas and inspiration. In my studio, the focus is on experiencing this art, feeling it, and allowing it to transform you. It is a place of inspiration, encouragement, and freedom—for every woman who wishes to unlock her inner strength through art. At the “Lebensfarben” studio, I offer women a space where they can rediscover themselves through art. For me, the creative process is a path to self-awareness and an expression of strength and individuality. My work is about inspiring women to unleash their own creative power and connect with their unique potential. Abstract art and light paintings are not only a visual delight but also a tool for discovering and expressing one’s own creativity. “Colors of Life” is an invitation to discover your own colors of life and to paint with them. Here, art becomes an experience that illuminates the moment and touches the heart.
Timmendorf Lighthouse

The Timmendorf Lighthouse is one of the landmarks of the island of Poel and one of the oldest 19th-century lighthouses still in operation. Visitors arriving from the sea first see the Timmendorf Lighthouse. The beacon was first put into operation in 1871 and raised to its current height (21 m) in 1931. As a navigational aid at the entrance to the seaport of the Hanseatic city of Wismar, the lighthouse remains of great importance today for the increasing maritime traffic. A second, smaller “lighthouse” stands west of Gollwitz, in the north of the island of Poel.
Lindengarten Wismar

The Lindengarten is a listed park in the heart of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. The Lindengarten was created in 1815 on the site of the former Swedish fortifications. In addition to an old stock of trees, the park is also home to a bronze sculpture by Horst Brühmann entitled Metamorphosis. It is also listed as an individual monument. The old trees and the many benches invite you to linger. The paths along the Mühlenbach stream are particularly beautiful.
Lutheran Church Heiligendamm

The Protestant church in Heiligendamm, actually a chapel, is a listed church building in Heiligendamm. The church was designed by architect Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel, who also supervised the construction. The church was consecrated on July 31, 1904. During the Second World War, a military hospital was set up in Heiligendamm, as evidenced by the graves of civilians to the left of the church. At the beginning of August 1943, the last service took place in the Protestant church for the time being. After a probable emergency bombing by British planes, the entire wooded area around the church was full of unexploded bombs and no one could get to the church safely. It was not until August 5, 1951 that the church, which had been completely looted in the post-war years, could be consecrated for services again. The Catholic church and the Lutheran church in Heiligendamm are also known as "forest churches". These churches are looked after by the "Verein zur Förderung der Waldkirchen Heiligendamm e.V.". The founders of the association are of the opinion that the Waldkirchen churches are a valuable asset to Heiligendamm.

Annette Mamerow-Brümmer presents large-format paintings of landscapes, still lifes, and portraits, as well as miniature paintings. She also offers decorative items and other works made of felt. In her Rostock studio, she offers painting and drawing classes for those interested. Frank Döhler presents reliefs, small sculptures, and coats of arms from his own stone carving workshop. Grevesmühlen Malt Factory

The Grevesmühlen Malt Factory is located on Börzower Weg in Grevesmühlen, the former county seat of the Northwest Mecklenburg district. The Grevesmühlen Malt Factory was built in 1873 on top of the rock cellar constructed by brewer Heintzmann. Today, the administrative offices of the Nordwestmecklenburg district are housed in this historic, protected building.

Behind the name “Meerfliese” are the two artists Juliane Umbreit and Janna Skroblin, whose creative styles complement each other beautifully as they craft fantastic maritime-themed tiles. Neukloster Museum

The Neukloster Museum is part of the Klosterhof ensemble and, in addition to constantly changing special exhibitions, will be showing the permanent exhibition "Neukloster/ Mecklenburg - 1170 to the present - A biography" from 2016. The listed museum building was successfully renovated and handed over to the Neukloster Museum Association for use in 2003. The completion of the half-timbered house closed the circle of the extensively renovated historical ensemble with the church, bell tower, provost's building and youth barn around the paved monastery courtyard and thus became an attraction for the town of Neukloster. In addition to numerous special exhibitions, the museum will be showing the permanent exhibition "Neukloster/ Mecklenburg - 1170 to the present - A biography" from 2016. The museum is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

We often become aware of our wishes and desires during a walk by the sea, as Susanne Pohlmann did. She has expressed this in this series and would like to inspire us too. A series of water paintings - it sounds so harmless, but what confronts us here is a churning sea, a mighty river powerfully making its way through the landscape. Her acrylic paintings, some of which are large-format, are not naturalistic depictions of what the artist sees, but rather express the effect they have on her own feelings. Expressive and moving - these are probably the adjectives that best describe her works. Be it the roaring spray that washes around the rocks, or the stones themselves, which seem to glow from within. Rhythm and movement, perhaps also a skill from her time as a dancer, make the pictures exciting and captivate the viewer.
