At the Dähn vineyard in Dorf Mecklenburg, you can taste and purchase wines. The wines are produced entirely on-site, from the grape to the finished bottle. Sales and tasting dates are announced online. Since 2019, 2,000 grapevines have found a new home in Dorf Mecklenburg, forming the basis for our wines. These are exclusively PiWi varieties (“fungus-resistant varieties”) that are well-suited to the region and minimize the use of fungicides. The grapes are vinified on-site to produce single-varietal and dry wines—from grape production through pressing to bottling, everything is made in Dorf Mecklenburg! But what do they actually taste like? Here are some brief descriptions of the wines: Regent: A variety that produces a deep red, full-bodied wine. Combined with woody notes from toasted oak, it’s a true delight for the palate, perfect for special occasions. Rondo: A full-bodied, fruity wine that captivates not only with its deep red color but also with its intense flavor of ripe cherries. Cabernet Cortis: Wines from this variety are reminiscent of Cabernet Sauvignon. They are rich in color and develop a robust aroma of black currants. When made as a rosé, it has a fruity character. Solaris: The early riser among white wines. A wine characterized by harmony and distinct fruit aromas on the palate—and it’s not just for pairing with Federweißer. Souvignier Gris: The rosé-colored grapes produce a fruity and crisp white wine that proves to be a reliable companion. Santé!
Steffenshagen Windmill

The windmill in Steffenshagen is a post mill with a smithy. The post mill was relocated here in 1998 from Buschkuhnsdorf (Saxony-Anhalt). It is approximately 200 years old. The original machinery is still intact. The mill is open to visitors. Guided tours of the museum smithy are also available.
Wismar Swedish heads

The Swedish heads are the town's landmarks and are a reminder of the time when Wismar was occupied by the Swedes. The Swedish heads are two busts of Hercules painted in baroque style in front of the tree house in the Old Harbour. The originals once stood on dolphins in the harbor entrance near Wendorf. After a Finnish barge damaged the heads in 1902, they were recast true to the originals and put back in the same place a year later. The origin and significance of the Swedish heads cannot be clearly proven. It has been proven that in 1672 a pole, namely the outermost one on the harbor boundary, was referred to as the "Swede" and that the two heads were put in place at the beginning of the 19th century to commemorate the Swedish period. It is highly probable that the two originals were rudder heads and were once part of the sculptural stern decoration of a ship.

Our 2,000 sea buckthorn bushes are located on the beach of the Wohlenberger Wiek. In our farm store you will find numerous sea buckthorn specialties from our own cultivation and production. In the heart of the Klützer Winkel, on the beach of the Wohlenberger Wiek between Wismar and Boltenhagen, lies our family-run sea buckthorn farm. Since 1997, we have dedicated ourselves with heart and hand to the cultivation, processing and marketing of specialties around the "Lemon of the North". A wide range of home-made sea buckthorn products await you in our farm store and online store: Fruit spreads, marmalade, jam, mustard, sauces & jellies Vinegars, oils, salts & dips Sea buckthorn juice, punch & syrup Liqueurs, spirits & wine Confectionery teas cosmetics and much more In summer, we invite you to explore our local plantations. Stop by and step into my world—I’m sure there’s something here for you, too. You can experience figurative art, a play of colors, and impressions here with me. Themes and thoughts—which perhaps resonate with more than just me—have inspired me to put them down on paper. There will also be something for the little ones who are close to our hearts and for those who are young at heart. As for what that will be—well, you’ll just have to come and see for yourselves. Wismar's unpackaged store becomes the backdrop for the sprouting of change. Enchanting flower arrangements from the SlowFlower movement, arranged in handmade ceramics, meet the fresh idea of compostable ToGo tableware. Rounded off by a swap and purchase market for pre-grown vegetable plants, garden perennials and seeds. May makes everything new! The füllwerk - Wismar's first unpackaged store is bursting with green ideas. This Saturday, Slowflower gardener Hanna Dittrich from Dalliendorf will enchant you with the Japanese art of flower arranging "Ikebana" and invites you to try your hand at it. The handmade vessels for this will be created by ceramicist Christiane Gregorowius from Dambeck. Isabelle Weniger, a student of Material Culture Design from Wismar, will be presenting her master's thesis. She is developing and designing a sustainable, 100% compostable disposable tableware. An open exchange for sharing, swapping and selling seeds, pre-grown vegetable plants and garden perennials will also get your pots, balconies and gardens sprouting. The füllwerk team will provide snacks and drinks for a small donation and introduce you to the world of unpackaged shopping. We look forward to seeing you! The phanTECHNIKUM Technical State Museum presents fantastic ideas from technology and nature on 2,500 square meters. You can expect objects, models and experimental stations to touch and participate in. In the World Heritage City on the Baltic Sea, the exciting world of technology and the history of technology in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is exhibited in the exhibition areas of fire, water and air. Experience an event, conference, company celebration or workshop in the fantastic ambience of the phanTECHNIKUM. The unique room for up to 120 people is located on the top floor of the museum. This room is equipped with tables, chairs, technology (projector, media cabinet, sound system, microphone, etc.), lectern and other equipment. Access to the room is possible through the exhibition or separately through a rear entrance. Would you like a guided tour, an exploration on your own or a fiery demonstration in the laboratory?
