Feldberg Fishing Center
● Feldberger Seenlandschaft
Discover the most beautiful fishing shop in the region and turn your fishing vacation—from friendly, expert advice and insider tips to guided fishing tours—into a truly special experience. The Feldberg Lake District delights fishing enthusiasts not only with its scenic beauty—featuring deep, clear lakes surrounded by wooded hills—but also with one of the most fascinating fishing shops in the lake district. The reason for this is its unique blend of museum and treasure trove of regional specialties. Whether it’s spoons, rubber lures, Makks, twisters, wobblers, fishing reels, fishing rods, or live bait—you’ll find everything an angler’s heart desires here. The shop—which also serves as a cozy gathering place for fishing enthusiasts to exchange ideas—has been run by Bernhard Petruschat since 1999. His palpable enthusiasm for the “most beautiful hobby in the world” and his expert knowledge alone make a visit here an experience. Particularly impressive is a gigantic pike measuring 143 centimeters and weighing 40 pounds, mounted on the wall. Bernhard Petruschat caught it over 20 years ago in Lake Carwitz. He’s always happy to recount the story of the catch, and he does so with such vividness that it feels as if it were yesterday. At the fishing center, you can not only purchase fishing permits for all 15 fishable lakes but also get comprehensive information about each body of water. And if you’ve always wanted to fish for gamefish and non-gamefish from the comfort of a boat, with an experienced guide who knows the local waters like the back of his hand, Bernhard Petruschat can arrange the perfect guided fishing tour. It’s an experience that will be unforgettable, especially for your children.

Treat yourself to a break for body and soul with individual massages and other classical Chinese medicine treatments. Practice for Chinese medicine Chinese medicine describes the human being as a process that exists under various internal and external conditions. This makes it possible to positively influence the actual state of a person by specifically influencing the conditions, to resolve any stagnation that has arisen and thus to regulate the entire body function system. Since a person's conditional structure is always individual, the diagnosis and therapy must always be individually tailored to each person. Treatment is carried out with individual TUINA massages, herbal formulas, exercises, acupuncture, etc. The client is also made responsible for the treatment. Among other things, I offer you Health advice according to classical Chinese medicine The aim of health advice is to create an individual pattern through targeted questioning and tongue and pulse observation and thus to recognize and correlate disharmonies. Among other things, it is about diet, lifestyle, digestion, sleep, ... . Interactions and correlations can be identified and solutions can be found together on how the disharmonious patterns can be regulated again. TUINA massages TUINA can be used both as prevention and therapy. It has been highly valued in China for over 2000 years, alongside herbal treatments, nutrition, acupuncture and lifestyle. With the help of various massage techniques that warm and work in depth, combined with targeted acupressure, the flow throughout the body is stimulated and stagnation can be released. The massages not only relieve tension. They also strengthen the muscles, make the joints supple and have a positive effect on other processes, such as digestion, breathing or psychosomatic problems. I offer Full body massage back massage Shoulder-neck massage Massage of the extremities Head massage Wellness/well-being massage Fire cupping Cupping therapy is one of the oldest methods of Chinese medicine. The air contained in the cupping glass is heated with a flame so that the air expands and a vacuum is created when it is applied to the skin. When the air in the cupping glass cools down, a vacuum is created which "sucks in" the tissue. The suction effect stimulates blood circulation, toxins and waste products are brought to the surface, the metabolism is stimulated, muscle tension and stiffness are relieved and the underlying organs can also be positively influenced. The suction effect causes circular bruising in the treated areas. However, these disappear again after a few days. The cupping massage combines flash cupping (the glass is sucked in and removed from the skin at lightning speed), moving cupping (the glass is pushed over the skin on a film of oil) and spot cupping. I offer: Fire cupping (punctual) Cupping massage Fire cupping combined with TUINA Movement theory from Chinese medicine Various exercises from Tao Yin and Qigong. Course dates on request Please call 0173 9120462 or visit info@amtsverwalterhaus.de for appointments.

● Feldberger Seenlandschaft
Church open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Luther Exhibition 2017: “Here I Stand—Origins—Lifestyle—New Beginnings—Outlook”; Evangelical Lutheran Church, built after the church fire of 1870 on what is now Kirchberg in Feldberg. Built in the historicist style between 1872 and 1875 in Feldberg, this cruciform brick basilica was designed by J. W. Richards. The 54-meter-high tower is visible from afar. The altarpiece features paintings of the “Ecce Homo” by Georg Kannegießer of Neutsrelitz. Incidentally, the Luzin Canal, which connects Haussee Lake with the Breiter Luzin, was constructed as a result of the church’s construction in Feldberg. Transporting the bricks, which were manufactured at the brickworks in Lichtenberg on the Breiter Luzin, was much easier and faster by water. During the summer months, the church is open to visitors.

Hullerbusch sheep farm with farm store
● Feldberger Seenlandschaft
The Hullerbusch sheep farm is located in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft nature park, between the steep banks of the Zansen and Schmalen Luzin rivers. Here we take care of the landscape with our rough-wool Pomeranian sheep in the most natural way. We offer meat and wool products from our animals in our farm store. In the Feldberger Seenlandschaft Nature Park, between the steep banks of the Zansen and the Schmal Luzin, lie the pastures and the farmstead of the Hullerbusch sheep farm. Our sheep and goats feed all year round on the herb-rich pastures in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft Nature Park. In the nature reserves of Hauptmannsberg and Schmaler Luzin, we thus maintain the landscape. We grow our own winter fodder (hay and grain) on our land. The lambs therefore thrive almost without concentrated feed; we do not use intensive fattening. This is why the lambs grow slowly and develop dark, mature, aromatic meat - you can taste it! In our farm store you can see, touch, smell, taste and of course buy many of the results of our work and that of other organic and small farms. We have fresh lamb for you from our own slaughterhouse, as well as sheep and goat sausage and ham. We process some of our sheep's wool into knitting wool, socks, wool pile vests and soft toys. We buy other wool products such as felt slippers, felt soles, slippers, fur shoes, gloves and soap for you to round off our range. In front of our small farm store you will find a few nice places to relax and linger. You can also enjoy a snack here. And of course there's coffee and tea, perhaps accompanied by goat's milk ice cream or a slice of cake. We also have lamb solyanka and lamb wiener for you.
Lütt Holthus Forest Museum
● Feldberger Seenlandschaft
The Lütt Holhus Forest Museum is a small, hands-on forest discovery center that shares interesting and informative facts about local forests and their flora and fauna. This small forest discovery center offers visitors insights into the plant and animal life of our forests. By trying things out for themselves—smelling, hearing, and feeling—visitors retain many things better in their memory and may be able to rediscover or discover them anew in the forest. Opportunities for this include the forest pharmacy, sound and touch boxes, a “walk-through fox den,” and more. A camera allows visitors to observe the pair of storks living at the forestry farm as they nest and raise their young. Outdoors, visitors can explore a Harz-style hut, a lumberjack’s wagon, and a mini-nursery. The museum is an ideal starting point for hikes to the Heiligen Hallen and the Paradiesgarten. Guided tours are available by appointment. The museum’s offerings are complemented by rotating special exhibitions, a small shop selling books, maps, souvenirs, and game products, as well as a vending machine. Hours: May–Sept. 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., closed Mondays; Oct. + April 1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m., closed Sun./Mon.; Admission: €2.00 / €1.00
Hiking close to nature
● Feldberger Seenlandschaft
On secluded paths and trails I will take you to the most beautiful places in our magnificent landscape, where you will discover old post roads, mysterious ruins, hidden lakes, crumbling bridges, old oak avenues and enjoy wonderful views. most walks take about two hours and are also suitable for children (from about 5 years), the elderly and the inexperienced. On my short hikes, we explore old post roads, abandoned ruins, hidden lakes, flowering meadows with old fruit trees, impressive oak avenues, crumbling wooden bridges.... Breaks at beautiful places are planned, certainly with swimming opportunities in summer. Most of the tours are between 5 and 8 km long and are easy to manage for anyone who enjoys exercise. You can find more detailed information about the individual hikes on my website www.naturnahwandern.de and in the event calendar of the tourist information office. There and on various notices you will find the current dates (usually 2 to 3 hikes per week) and meeting points. You are also welcome to book hikes with me for small and larger groups and organize them according to your wishes.
