BOMIGO Bowling Leisure Center
● Zingst
Adventure golf, minigolf, climbing wall, tennis and badminton in the Baltic Sea resort of Zingst. Sport for everyone. Exercise combined with fun and games for an ideal vacation experience. In 2013, the former tennis facility was resurrected from its former slumber with a new crew and a new name. The Bomigo - Bowling Leisure Center Zingst. The declared aim is to expand the facility into a year-round and weather-independent leisure experience for families. The first step was the construction of an adventure mini-golf course with 12 lanes for the outdoor area. Bomigo now has a second 18-hole minigolf course. Nine holes in the outdoor area and nine on the panorama deck on the upper floor of the large Bomigo hall. A large outdoor terrace with beach chairs, tables and chairs allows guests to watch the action on the course at close quarters. The "Boddenblick" bistro also offers hot and cold food and drinks indoors. There is a climbing tower with three slides for small children. The large Bomigo hall is particularly suitable for all weathers. This is why it was extensively reconstructed on two floors in 2015 and made handicapped accessible. There is now a climbing wall, another tennis court, table tennis and a badminton court. Even archers find good training opportunities here.
Meiningen bridge
● Zingst
The Meiningen Bridge is a technical landmark with over 100 years of history, which has shaped the transition from rail to road transport and still plays a central role for the region today. The Meiningen Bridge has connected the mainland with the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula since 1910. Originally built as a railroad bridge for the Darßbahn, it was used for road traffic after the Second World War and developed into the region's central traffic artery. Due to its age, a temporary bridge around 200 m long with a lifting section was built in 2012, which still carries road, cycle and pedestrian traffic today. A rail connection is also planned for the replacement construction.
St. Peter Paul's Church
● Zingst
The village of Zingst only came into being in the first half of the 19th century, which is why the Zingst church is younger than other sacred buildings in the region. It was built in two years by order of the Prussian royal government and consecrated in the fall of 1862. The architect of the simple towerless building in neo-Gothic style was the then court architect Friedrich August Stüler, a pupil of Schinkel. Dietrich Bonhoefer's work at the Zingsthof in 1935 and his sermon from the pulpit of the church in the same year are of historical significance. In 1986, the church received a new organ, built by the Sauer company (Frankfurt/Oder) while retaining the case of the old Mehmel organ.
