Cultural Living Room
Casual, abstract, emotional: Jens Kubitz presents his works in the Kulturwohnzimmer.
Emotional, playful, captivating: This is how Jens Kubitz’s works come across, as he invites us this year on a brief journey through the treasures of his art. Through his down-to-earth nature and his unpretentious approach to art, he manages to create vibrant compositions that captivate viewers and allow them to revel in their emotions. “If people like it, then that’s good,” he says of his art, “the rest doesn’t interest me.” It is precisely this direct and honest trait that makes his art so special. That’s why we’re very excited to welcome him to the Kulturwohnzimmer. Over a drink, you’ll have the opportunity to strike up a conversation with him. Hours Jan.–Dec.: Thu–Sun 12–6 p.m.
Kulturwohnzimmer Wismar – Art with Character

Wismar as an Art Hub on the Baltic Sea
Wismar is one of the culturally vibrant cities on the German Baltic Sea coast in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In addition to its impressive Old Town and proximity to the Baltic Sea, the city consistently offers interesting encounters with contemporary art—the Kulturwohnzimmer is a charming example of this. Anyone exploring the region—for example, on the way to Rostock, Stralsund, or the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula—should plan to stop in Wismar.
