The brasserie offers Italian cuisine in a wonderful ambience indoors or outdoors on a green terrace with a view of the sunset behind Lake Kummerow. Experience the sunset over the lakeside mountains on Lake Kummerow with a cocktail on the spacious terrace, surrounded by greenery. By building the brasserie, the hosts are realizing their dream of sharing their love of good food and nature with other people. The fairytale garden brasserie in the middle of nature was lovingly built by hand and every detail was designed with the guests' senses in mind. Over the next few years, themed gardens based on well-known and not-so-well-known fairy tales will be created on the 3.5-hectare site. You are already welcome to stroll around the grounds with a glass of wine and enjoy the plants and diverse wildlife.

The Märchengarten Brasserie and Village Shop in Grammentin is an extraordinary place in the Mecklenburg Lake District, far away from the hustle and bustle of the Baltic Sea coast between Rostock and Greifswald. The brasserie was lovingly built by the hosts themselves - with natural-colored clay walls, handmade mosaic tiles and natural wood, which creates a unique ambience that appeals to all the senses.

The menu features Italian dishes that are prepared with care and love - supported by fresh produce from the restaurant's own garden. You can eat inside in the atmospheric interior or outside on the spacious terrace, which offers an impressive view of Lake Kummerow and the surrounding lakeside mountains. A cocktail at sunset rounds off the experience in a special way.

Themed gardens based on fairy tales on 3.5 hectares of nature

The area around the brasserie covers 3.5 hectares, where themed gardens based on well-known and lesser-known fairy tales will be created over the coming years. The extensive area already invites visitors to stroll among a variety of plants and wildlife - an experience that brings the rural character of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to life in a special way.
