The Bleckede Tourist Information Office is the first port of call for anyone wanting to explore the town of Bleckede and the Lower Saxon Elbe floodplain. Nestled between Geest and Marsch, in the Lower Saxony Elbe floodplain biosphere reserve, Bleckede and its 13 districts along the Elbe offer a natural setting that attracts visitors from all over the North German Plain - and can be wonderfully combined with a trip to the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, for example to Wismar, Rostock or Stralsund.
Town tours, boat trips and small train in BleckedeThe Tourist Information team arranges accommodation, organizes guided tours of the town and provides information about trips on the historic Bleckede narrow-gauge railroad and boat trips on the Elbe. If you also want to go fishing, you can get fishing permits and tourist fishing licenses here. The Biosphaerium Elbtalaue regularly hosts lectures and cultural events that vividly convey the nature and history of the region.
