Horseback riding is permitted from April 1 to October 31 between beach access 9L and beach access 9I1 between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am. Access to the equestrian beach is via beach access 9I1. In the period from November 1 to March 31, beach riding is permitted around the clock in Trassenheide! On horseback over the fine, white sandy beach: it is not possible to explore Usedom's beaches on horseback all year round, but it is possible at certain times of the day and year. The north of the island offers the best conditions for this: The beach there is up to 70m wide and therefore even wider than in the other regions of the island. Rides are possible from the Friesenhof Trassenheide. Galloping along the beach towards the rising sun or immersed in the golden sunset - an experience for every horse lover! On the well-trained, off-road horses of the Trassenheide farms, you can ride along the island's riding beaches until 9 a.m. in the morning and from 6 p.m. in the evening.

The entire promenade area in Ostseebad Trassenheide is level and step-free. You will also find disabled-friendly toilets here, as well as at the train station and in the "Haus des Gastes". Trassenheide is well connected to the cycle and hiking trail network on the island of Usedom, making it an ideal starting point for excursions. The designated cycle paths are paved and invite you to explore the island. The Baltic seaside resort has two stops on the Usedom Bäderbahn, which also enables barrier-free excursions to the south of Usedom.
