Teutendorf Manor House

The manor house was built around 1800 by the von Flotow family in the Neoclassical style. The foundations date back to the 15th century.
After the political transition, the Floto family reacquired the manor house, which they had originally purchased from the von Flotow family in 1903 and which had been expropriated after 1945. In 2000, they had it faithfully restored in accordance with historic preservation guidelines. Thus, the round-arched vaults were restored on the old foundations and expanded for use in celebrations. Surrounded by a beautiful 8-hectare park with a chapel and pond (ca. 1800), the house is now used as a residence. It is the birthplace of Friedrich von Flotow, arguably the most significant composer from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
