Studio Nora Gauger

The visual artist and singer-songwriter Nora Gauger has a studio in the flower town of Ticino. Here she creates songs, paintings and art objects. In collaboration with Florian Hellweg, HEART guitars & more, unique guitars are created with artistic paintings. In addition to producing commissioned works, such as murals, Nora Gauger gives concerts at private and public events. Her song "Wunder" is the official anthem of the city of Stavenhagen 2025.

Welcome to the "Old Sugar Factory" Children's play park Covering an area of 500 m², the children's play park is the perfect place for children of all ages to have fun. Curling Climbing wall 300 m² of climbing space is available for the sports climbing area. With a height of 12 m, you will find the highest indoor climbing wall in the whole of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in our adventure world. Ticino Golf Club

Nestled in a picturesque landscape lies the 9-hole course at the Tessin Golf Center. Even if you’re not a member, you’re more than welcome to play a round of golf here. The Golf Club Tessin is one of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s hidden gems. The 9-hole course (par 36/72), framed by old trees, is situated between the historic, listed sugar factory and the nature reserve surrounding the Wolfsberger Mill. The challenging holes require precise and tactical shots. As a result, the course offers an exceptionally interesting setting for players of all skill levels. Thanks to its mild climate, the course is playable year-round.

Tessin Mill House

The mill house in Tessin now houses the city information office. The mill house is the oldest surviving half-timbered house in Tessin on the Old Market Square. After the great city fire of 1741, this house was also destroyed by fire, but it was rebuilt just one year later. The mill house remained inhabited for nearly 250 years before it was sold to the city. Following an extensive renovation in 1993, all original structural elements were preserved or restored to their original form. The building has been a listed historic monument since 1994. a wedding room worth seeing, the local history room (household items from grandmother’s time, historical pictures, tools from Tessin’s days as an agricultural town), and the Tessin Information Center. According to an old superstition, a symbolic mill was built into the gable of the house to protect against witches and evil spirits. A magical symbol meant to ward off spirits and witches should they attempt to make the house their ill-fated home. A visit is well worth it! Ticino Town Hall

The town hall is located at Markt Tessin. The market in Tessin was redesigned a few years ago and the town hall has been restored to its former glory. For the citizens and visitors, the employees of the main office always try to offer exhibitions of regional artists in the town hall.
Tessin City Church
● Tessin
The Gothic St. John’s Church in the historic center of Tessin was consecrated around 1350. Built in the 14th century, the church was damaged in a town fire in 1728. During the subsequent restoration, the spire was placed atop the gabled roof. From 1896 to 1898, master builder Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel carried out a major renovation, during which the vestibule was added to the west side. The Baroque interior was replaced with a Neo-Gothic one as part of this project.
