The fitness trail features 7 stations with exercises suitable for all ages, designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, target specific muscle groups, or train balance and coordination. Small signs explain how to use the equipment, so even first-time users know exactly what to do. The portable massage rollers, which help you relax, are also particularly popular. In the shade of the trees and near the water, the atmosphere is pleasant year-round, so you’re sure to never get bored here.

Prieperter Heimatstube directly on the Großer Priepertsee invites you to linger. The Priepert Heimatstube is located in the former village school and displays historical exhibits from times long past. The exhibits were donated by residents of the community and show all kinds of everyday objects, books and clothing from earlier times. Curious home-made items, such as the egg tester or the self-made chainsaw, also bear witness to the inventiveness of the inhabitants. Outside, old farming equipment from the last century can be seen.

Priepert Church

The Priepert Church is one of the many churches along the “Mecklenburg Lake District” pilgrimage route. The churchyard features impressive mulberry trees, and inside the building, an altar, a baptismal angel, and a harmonium await interested visitors. The half-timbered church building dates back to 1719. The layout of the church grounds and the church’s architecture itself show Central German influences. The floor plan is roughly square with a half-dodecagonal choir attached. The altarpiece and the angel leaning protectively over the baptismal font are definitely worth seeing. You can also admire a harmonium here, and a small book bazaar invites you to explore. As part of the “Hour of Music” event series, wonderful concerts take place in the church every Friday in July and August. Also during the summer, puppet shows for the whole family are held every Thursday evening in the church garden, beneath impressive mulberry trees.
