The fieldstone church in Groß Gievitz on Lake Torgelow is a structure dating from the transition from the Romanesque to the Gothic style in the 13th century. It was first mentioned in 1267. The church is furnished with interesting artifacts and features impressive original murals from the time of its construction, which were uncovered in 1964. In 2022, a multimedia exhibition was created, including a film portrait of this unique building.
