The Warener Cinestar is a small but excellent movie theater near the Old Town. It has three auditoriums with 102 seats (Auditorium 1), 135 (Theater 2), and 229 seats (Theater 3). All three theaters are digitized, 3D-capable, and equipped with a 5.1 Dolby Digital sound system. Built in 1998 and opened on November 25, 1999, with *James Bond: The World Is Not Enough*, the cinema is thus state-of-the-art from a technical standpoint. In addition, all three theaters are air-conditioned, offering a welcome respite from hot summer days. Auditoriums 1 and 3 are currently accessible to people with disabilities. In addition to the current movie lineup, there are a number of events, such as the Women’s Film Days, the Cine-Lady previews, Cine-Art screenings, and live broadcasts.

CineStar Waren (Müritz) is a compact, well-equipped movie theater located not far from the historic old town of Waren.
