The Torgelow Shooting Range offers shooting enthusiasts in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region a well-equipped facility with a wide range of activities. The range is operated by the Torgelow Shooting Guild, which offers various disciplines for a cartridge fee. Torgelow is located in the hinterland of the Baltic Sea coast, not far from the island of Usedom, and can be easily combined with a stay on the coast.
Shooting disciplines at the Torgelow Shooting Range
Small-caliber pistols, small-caliber rifles, and large-caliber pistols are available on the grounds. Clay pigeon shooting in the trap and skeet disciplines—where moving clay targets are used—is particularly popular. These activities can be booked for a cartridge fee and are suitable for beginners and experienced shooters alike.
Open Shooting Festivals in Torgelow
Twice a year, the Torgelow Shooting Guild hosts an open shooting festival at the shooting range. These events are social gatherings for shooters from across the region and also offer visitors from the Baltic Sea area—such as those from Usedom or Greifswald—an interesting addition to their coastal vacation.

The 55-metre-long water slide in the "Heidebad", the idyllic outdoor pool on the edge of the forest, as well as the water mushroom and bubbles offer pure bathing fun for young and old. Regardless of the weather, a water temperature of 22 °C is guaranteed during the season from May to the beginning of September. History you can touch - the open-air museums "Ukranenland" and "Castrum Turglowe" are inviting. The full-size buildings in both museum complexes are based on archaeological findings and give a first-hand impression of the living conditions of the time. In "Ukranenland", a Slavic village from the 8th/9th century has been completely reconstructed. A small harbor with the seaworthy Slavic boats "Svarog" and "Svantevit" completes the village complex. An early medieval settlement from the 12th/13th century can be visited in the "Castrum Turglowe". Two hotels, a guesthouse, a youth hostel and numerous vacation apartments invite you to stay for longer. There is also a water hiking rest area and a caravan parking area.

The Torgelow tennis center has indoor and outdoor courts. There are two indoor tennis courts and three outdoor courts to choose from. Completed in 1998, the facility is equipped with a sauna area, two computer-controlled bowling alleys, a restaurant, a tennis store and an outdoor terrace.
