This nature park is located in the north-east of the country, in the direct vicinity of the Republic of Poland.

It is characterized above all by the natural unspoilt sections of the lagoon coast as well as lagoon meadows, wide forest complexes of the Ueckermünde Heath, the Uecker and Randow lowlands and the Brohmer Berge. The visitor information center is located at the train station in Eggesin. The idea of the nature park was born in the district of Uecker-Randow in the fall of 2001 by committed employees and representatives of local authorities. The "Am Stettiner Haff" Nature Park was founded in 2003. Six people work in the nature park. Mr. Elberskirch as manager and Mr. Dinse as deputy mainly in the office as well as four rangers (Ms. Kroschwald, Mr. Henke, Mr. Fleck and Mr. Schuldt) who work primarily in the nature park area. All employees work primarily in the areas of nature conservation, nature-friendly tourism and public relations as well as regional development and environmental education. Since August 2012, the nature park has been based at the train station in Eggesin, where a modern visitor information center with a small café area has also been built. Under the direction of the town of Eggesin and with the help of EAFRD (LEADER) and urban development funds, two historic station outbuildings were renovated and connected to a functional new building. Here, visitors can get an overview of the nature park and its special features with the help of a modern interactive exhibition and then explore the nature park region equipped with information material. Nature lovers and stressed city dwellers will find the peace and quiet they long for, even in the high season. Two regular events throughout the year are worth mentioning: One is the sales exhibition as part of KUNST:OFFEN on the Whitsun weekend. This takes place in the tranquil village of Hintersee in the gallery in the barn. It is open from 10:00 to 18:00. In addition to the products from the master workshop, a farm café with homemade cakes, bread, tea and coffee will be open on all three days. A tombola invites you to take part. The second is a small Advent market with an open day organized by the Rose woodturning workshop in Eggesin. You are cordially invited to visit the workshop on the Saturday before the third Advent from 13:00 to 17:00.
