A parking lot is located right next to it, and there is plenty of seating. A variety of play structures invite children of all ages to test and develop their skills. Waren (Müritz) has been a recognized brine spa since 2012. Waren's thermal brine is used in a variety of ways at the spa center on the Nesselberg. This is extracted from an underground "sea" at a depth of 1550 meters in the geothermal plant on the Papenberg. Balneological reports by the Fresenius Institute have confirmed that Waren's thermal brine meets the criteria for natural healing water and is therefore entitled to bear the designation "iodine-containing thermal brine". There are particularly promising treatment options for skin diseases, respiratory diseases and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The iodine-containing thermal brine is the basis for the "Waren bath salt". This makes it possible to use it at home. The salt is available in various packs on site at the Waren (Müritz) Information Office or by mail order from the Waren public utility company.
