At Fischers Land near Boek, we have a wide selection of different ponds: a family pond teeming with carp. Then there’s the Dreiecksteich, a special children’s fishing pond right next to the rotunda, where the main fish are roach and rudd. A unique feature in Germany is the pike ditch at Fischers Land. Artificial lures are permitted in this ditch, which becomes heavily overgrown with weeds in the summer. Pike up to 90 cm have already been caught here! If you love big carp, you’ll find ideal conditions at Big Carp Lake Boek. Perfect fishing spots—some accessible directly by car—nearby restrooms, and electricity right by the lake are ideal for carp anglers traveling with companions. Alt Schwerin Fishing Pond In addition to the fishing area, they built a pond many years ago out of a marshy meadow. This pond is now popular with many guests who enjoy spending a few relaxing hours fishing there. The pond is home to many species of fish. In addition to tench, carp, sturgeon, and eel, you can also catch trout. Adamshoffnung Fishing Pond Fishing at the Adamshoffnung pond complex is unlike any other fishing pond, as it features natural ponds with a good stock of fish and low fishing pressure. The pond complex is a great option for trout fishing in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Fishing Ponds at Plauer See Between Plauer See—right next to the Bärenwald—you’ll find the fishing ponds and fish smokehouse of “Fischer Mütze” Harald Hagemeister. No tourist fishing license or fishing permit is required for these fishing ponds. You usually pay a base fee plus the price per kilogram for the fish you catch.

Discover a vivid glimpse into the past and learn what stories the tiles, stoves, and master potters have to tell. A stove just like the one at Grandma’s house back in the day! Hardly any piece of furniture is as steeped in history as the old tiled stove. The family would gather around it on cold evenings; it served as a cooking stove and, of course, as a showpiece, because these artfully decorated stoves in castles or manor houses were by no means intended solely for practical use. Discover tiled stoves ranging from the original model to faience and Art Nouveau styles, all the way to standard GDR models. In the former tile workshop, preserved in its original condition, you can also view a wide variety of tiles and tools used in tile production. This technical monument—featuring a clay cellar, a kiln, a winch for hauling clay to the upper floors, and drying areas—brings history to life and allows us to experience a bygone era. The Müritz climbing forest in Waren (Müritz) offers adventure seekers of all ages an exciting experience in the midst of nature. Covering an area of over 3 hectares, the climbing route is around 2 kilometers long and has 9 courses of varying difficulty. These courses have names such as "Greenhorn", "Robin Hood", "Black Widow" or "K2" and include over 100 climbing elements such as ladders, climbing walls, slides and barrels, which provide thrills at heights of up to 15 meters. Great importance is attached to the safety of visitors in the Müritz climbing forest. Before starting, each participant receives a thorough briefing from experienced trainers who explain how to use the climbing equipment and how to secure themselves. Trained staff are on site throughout the entire visit to ensure that safety standards are adhered to and to provide support if necessary. Children may climb from a height of 1.25 meters. Children up to the age of 13 must be accompanied by a climbing parent or guardian, while teenagers up to the age of 16 must be accompanied on the ground. Young people up to the age of 18 require written permission from their parents.
