Wolkwitz Church – a 13th-century religious building

The Wolkwitz Church in Wolkwitz is one of the most remarkable medieval church buildings in the interior of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The nearly rectangular hall church dates back to the 13th century in its earliest construction phases, thus bearing witness to a long tradition of faith in this rural region. Today, it is part of the Protestant parish in Kummerow.
