Dreenkrögen bathing lake - Silbersee campsite

The idyllically situated gravel lake is the ideal place to cool off in summer. Top water quality, large and fine sandy sunbathing areas, a jetty, snack facilities, sanitary facilities and lifeguards ensure safety in the cool water. Campers, motorhome tourists and caravan vacationers are welcome. On the edge of the village, somewhat hidden in the forest, lies the Dreenkrögen bathing lake. In the summer months, this is a popular bathing spot for families who want to escape the hustle and bustle of public outdoor pools. The Dreenkrögen bathing lake is a typical quarry pond created by gravel extraction. It has no inflows or outflows and is fed exclusively by groundwater. Nevertheless, the water is crystal clear and invites you to take a refreshing dip on hot days. On the eastern side of the almost seven-hectare lake is a natural bathing beach with a sunbathing lawn. The bathing area is supervised during the summer months so that families with small children can also enjoy a carefree time outdoors and swimming. The lake is also popular with anglers. Eels, perch, lead, pike, carp, roach and rudd can be found here. Campers, motorhome tourists and caravan holidaymakers are welcome. Bathing beach: Opening hours: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Prices: €3 per guest, children up to 13 years €2 from 18:00 entrance fee 1,-€ Lifeguards in good weather from 1-6 p.m. Campsite Motorhome/ caravan incl. persons: 30 €/ night Tent 10,- € per person/night plus energy flat rate € 3,- per person The price includes Use of the new camping kitchen with electric stove, hob, fridge, indoor and outdoor sinks and 2 outdoor showers. Power connection for caravan and tent available. Sanitary facilities and indoor shower (2x € 0.50) available. Electricity according to consumption, water and sanitary facilities, disposal of waste and gray water/black water are free of charge. Campfires with fire bowls and barbecues are permitted. Fire bowl and barbecue can be hired. A bathing jetty approx. 70 m long and a slide and jumping tower have just been built. 2 x table tennis and 2 x volleyball available Dogs are allowed: Price per dog 5,-€ per day. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the campsite. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach. However, we have a dog beach approx. 200 m away which does not require dogs to be kept on a lead.
