Observation tower at Tiefwarensee

Observation tower at Tiefwarensee Enjoy the view over the ice age landscape of the Tiefwarensee from the northernmost point of the town. The observation tower is located high up on the field as part of the circular hiking trail around the Tiefwarensee. At the edge of the path is a small "stone forest" with stone towers built by visitors and hikers. Past the "stone forest", along a slightly stony field path, you reach the tower with seating. Listen to the silence of the Ice Age landscape, take a deep breath and let your gaze wander over the vast countryside. In summer, there is a cocktail bar nearby at the "Amsee Bridge" and the "Paulshöhe" beer garden.
