The Fischlandhaus is a listed building in the Neue Straße. The house is around 200 years old and now houses an up-to-date library, which can be used free of charge by locals and guests. In 2010, the building was extensively renovated and an event room was added. Three exhibitions are held in the gallery rooms every year, supplemented by regular concerts and readings. From May to October, visitors can also drop by on Wednesdays to take part in willow weaving. Basket weaver Bianca Prill presents her craft and invites young and old to try their hand at smaller projects.

Fischlandhaus Wustrow - historic high-plank house on the Baltic Sea

The Fischlandhaus Wustrow is an approximately 200-year-old, listed high-plank house in Neue Straße - a silent testimony to the building culture on Fischland-Darß-Zingst. After extensive renovation in 2010, the building was carefully modernized and extended to include an event room without losing its historical character.

Today, the Fischlandhaus is home to a modern library, which is open to both locals and vacation guests free of charge. Three exhibitions change every year in the gallery rooms, accompanied by regular concerts and readings.
