The Töpperhus in Ostseebad Ahrenshoop OT Niehagen is a traditional ceramics workshop right on the Saaler Bodden. Master potter Renate Jankowski founded the workshop on June 1, 1999 and has been producing handmade ceramics on the potter's wheel in the old tradition ever since. The pieces are decorated by hand with motifs from the regional flora and fauna of Fischland-Darß-Zingst, making them unique reminders of the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Each piece from the Töpperhus is unique: the decorations depict plants and animals from the unique coastal landscape between Rostock and Stralsund. "We" are owner Christine Dade and her partner Gerd Sonntag. Cakes are freshly baked for you from the morning - it doesn't take long for the delicious smells to waft around the colorful house. Enjoy your stay with us and let yourself be pampered in a family atmosphere! We have set up our CaféStübchen for you in the middle of our garden: directly on the street, yet shielded by trees, shrubs and flowers, a little oasis to pause and linger. More than 30 seats in the garden or directly under the cherry tree - everyone will find a place to relax here. We give free rein to our creativity with our daily changing range of cakes, but we are also happy to cater to the wishes of our guests and follow the seasonal offerings. Small snacks such as lard pots with home-baked bread, spiced meat in a pâté and other delicacies ... Opening hours: open daily in summer, varying closing days in the early and late season.
