400 m after leaving Fleethof. You can look out over the wetlands of Lake Galenbeck. Lake Galenbeck has been a nature reserve since 1938 due to its great biodiversity, making it one of the oldest nature reserves in Germany. The lake is an important breeding ground for rare bird species such as the white-tailed eagle and kingfisher.
