The exclusive training area covers 800,000 square meters of shallow, waist-deep water and is accessible only by boat, ensuring no outside disturbances. Thanks to waterproof radio helmets, students remain in constant contact with instructors, who can provide immediate feedback. Courses are offered daily and flexibly tailored to the participants’ skill levels. State-of-the-art equipment from Duotone Kiteboarding, which is regularly updated, is available. The location of the training area allows for lessons in virtually any wind direction. Windsurfing, wingfoil, and SUP courses are also offered.

Customized kitesurfing lessons without a buddy system on the Bodden
A key difference from many other kitesurfing schools: Each student receives their own kite and is taught without the usual buddy system. Students and instructors remain in direct contact at all times via waterproof radio helmets, which enables targeted and immediate feedback. Courses take place daily and are flexibly adapted to the individual skill levels of the participants. The latest equipment from Duotone Kiteboarding is used and is regularly updated.

Dändorf History House

Inaugurated in fall 2014, the Dändorf History House delights visitors with exhibitions on the history of the historic North Mecklenburg Salt Road between Sülze and Wismar, which also ran through Dändorf, as well as photographs and postcards from the Baltic seaside resort in the 1960s, taken by the well-known photographer Annemarie Giegold-Schilling (Annemarie Dorn) from Halle. A new exhibition is intended to remind visitors of the importance of sailing and steam shipping for Dändorf and Dierhagen, and in particular of the local captains. The history house in the Dändorf district is located in the immediate vicinity of the historic Salzstraße, today's Dorfstraße. This made the former fire station of the Dändorf fire department the ideal location for the history house. In the 18th century, the historic salt road led from Bad Sülze via the Boddenhafen in Dändorf to Wismar and Schwerin. Dändorf benefited from its function as a salt transshipment point and was given a paved village street early on so that the salt transports from the port did not get stuck in bad weather. This street is still preserved today and can be admired as a historical monument alongside the beautiful old captain's houses in the village. The history house in the Dierhagen district of Dändorf is open to visitors daily from May to October from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Horseback riding on the beach in Ostseebad Dierhagen is permitted from October 4 to March 31. The beach crossing 22 must be used for this purpose. Exceptions for certain sections and periods can be granted by the municipality on request from local riding stables. A valid riding license (riding sticker) must also be purchased for the horse. The riding stickers can be purchased at the Haus des Gastes, Dierhagen Strand, Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Str. 2, and are valid for the respective calendar year. Further information can be found here!
