The Barth Bible - A Middle Low German printed work from 1588
The Barth Bible is one of the most remarkable historical testimonies of the Baltic Sea region. In 1588, Duke Bogislaw XIII had this extraordinary Bible printed in Barth - written in Middle Low German, the language spoken in the region at the time.
