In Zietlitz, a district of the municipality of Sukow, the first North German children's farm shows life in the countryside as it used to be. Many typical regional domestic animals can be experienced in their stables and enclosures.
There is a meadow orchard with old varieties of fruit, and vegetables and herbs are also grown, which are made available to the "Kindertafel Schwerin" children's food bank after harvesting. Children get an insight into the work processes on the farm through active participation. A large round barn offers excellent opportunities for playing, handicrafts and learning, but a children's birthday party is also a special experience here. There is also a small fishing pond where children can get their first taste of fishing.
