In 1759, Vollrath Levin II Moltzan of Kirch-Grubenhagen became the owner of the Vollrathsruhe estate. The land was acquired under a hereditary lease. The former Maltzahn estate later passed to the von Tiele-Winkler family. The stately, Neo-Baroque manor house was built in 1920 on the ruins of its Baroque predecessor. A low connecting structure to a pavilion-like side wing is attached to the eastern gable end. The estate park features a chapel well worth seeing. Several farm buildings constructed of large granite stones, as well as sections of the old wall with remnants of a stable, still remain.

The fascination of ballooning still captivates us just as much as it did the day the Montgolfier brothers first realized their dream of flying. Floating calmly and relaxed over the landscape, enjoying the unrestricted panoramic view... ... make ballooning so unique. Despite modern technology, the feeling of adventure has remained with us, as our route and speed are determined solely by the wind - well, almost. The pilot can also have a small say by choosing the launch site based on the weather forecast and finding the most favorable wind current by choosing the right altitude. We have a whole range of launch sites in and around Waren, Malchow, Röbel and also Teterow, Malchin, Güstrow, Mirow and Feldberg. This enables us to largely harmonize the wishes of our guests with the weather. Balloon flights take place early in the morning and in the evening, when the low sun allows the wind and gusts to calm down. In the cooler half of the year, when the sun is quite low, the launch time is closer to the middle of the day.
