Get on your horse and into the saddle. With its meadows and forests, the Rostock Heath offers a wonderful landscape that can be experienced on numerous bridle paths right up to the Baltic Sea. Riding on the white, fine sandy beach at Stolper Ort is permitted all year round on a length of three groyne sections and is one of the highlights of every riding excursion. You are welcome to contact local riding stables or use the forest parking lots as a starting point if you are traveling with a horse trailer. Please always stay on the designated bridleways in the forest (required by law) and show consideration for all other forest visitors.
