St. Jacek Parish Church
● Stepnica
The floor plan of the church, built in 1741, is in the shape of an equilateral Greek cross, which is a great rarity in this area. The half-timbered structure is covered with stucco.
The church is located in the northwestern part of the village, on Provincial Road No. 111. Nearby is Zatoka Stepnicka (Stepenitz Bay).
The church was built between 1793 and 1741 using a timber-frame construction with brick infill in the bays and a Greek cross floor plan, which is a rarity in Western Pomerania. In 1840–1841, the façade was plastered over, so that the half-timbered structure is no longer visible. Notable features inside the church include the Baroque altar, the side and choir galleries, and the 17th-century pews.
