CLIMBING, FUN & EDUCATION - all in one place! The longest ropeway in the north at 116.5 meters awaits you! There are also seven courses with over 60 climbing challenges and an event tower with a "Skyjump" from a height of over 9 meters. Experience nature, history and yourself at the Schwaan Climbing & Adventure Forest! Our mascot forest ranger "KURT" guarantees you maximum safety and pure fun! #festimgurtmitkurt In the enchanting town of Schwaan - just a 20-minute drive from Rostock - a center for sport, adventure, history and natural history has been created on the historic "Obotritenhöhe". In the middle of the climbing forest is a small lake, over which a total of 9 "Flying Fox" cable cars run, connecting the two sides of the course. The centerpiece is the event tower - and it will put you to a real test of courage! Are you fit for heights and looking for a kick? - Then stand alone on the wobbly platform and take a base jump from a height of over 9 meters. In addition, the "Obotritenhöhe Natural History and Experience Center" (NEO) will gradually be built in cooperation with the "Institut für Zelltechnologie e.V. Rostock" in 2022. The information and educational trail distributed throughout the park will shed light on exciting facts about the organisms found there. Display boards and objects will be used to illustrate the local flora and fauna. As an extracurricular place of learning, there will then be the opportunity to carry out projects and teaching content in a "research yurt" and gain insights into the STEM subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, technology). Of course, we will also take care of your physical well-being. - Our "Futterhaus" offers you a wide range of food and drinks. And our forest terrace with a fantastic view over the lake into the forest is definitely an inviting place to linger.

Ramona Ponomarew-John and Karl Michael Constin show sculptures and paintings of the Maasai in ceramic installations as well as drawings of traditional Suibukuga ink painting. Karl - Michael Constin was born in Bützow and lives in Jürgenshagen. He studied at the graphic art and design school in Anklam and became a master student of the Japan-based artist Professor Heinrich Radloff. His studies were followed by a three-month stay in Japan. This was followed by professional assignments in advertising agencies and educational institutions. In 2005, Karl-Michael Constin began a one-year study visit to Kyoto, Japan. There he studied calligraphy, ikebana and traditional suibokuga ink painting. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions throughout Germany. The gallery shows ink drawings that were created during his stay in Barbizon / France. Ramona Ponomarew - John was born in Schönberg / Mecklenburg and lives in Plüschow. As a secondary school teacher for art and foreign languages, she led the "School against Racism" and "Fair Trade School" projects at her school. With this in mind, she established relationships with schools in Tanzania. Her repeated stays in Africa and her contacts with the Maasai ethnic group are reflected in her ceramic installations.
