Warnemünde Week is one of the largest international sailing events in Germany. On land, the water program is always complemented by an entertaining summer festival with dragon boat races, beach handball, shanty choir meetings as well as kubb, lacrosse and much more. There is a beach arena right on the beach where you can take part and watch.

Warnemünde - Barrier-free beach access 14
📍 Rostock-Warnemünde
The fine sandy beach at Warnemünde offers state-of-the-art barrier-free access to the beach during the season. Use of the Rostock beaches is free of charge. Warnemünde beach is one of the main beaches of the Rostock seaside resorts. It is characterized by a fine-grained white sandy beach with few stones and shallow water in the shore area. With a width of up to 200 meters, it is also considered the widest on the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The beach can be used free of charge in the Rostock seaside resorts. The Warnemünde beach promenade is a popular promenade from the lighthouse to the beach path and is completely barrier-free. There are barrier-free beach access points in Warnemünde seaside resort during the high season. Official assistance dogs are allowed on these. The barrier-free beach access 14 in Warnemünde has the following to offer: Condition: closed path to the beach chairs over non-slip surface (aluminum, wooden plates and rubber mats) Beach chairs: yes Clothing: textile WC for people with disabilities: not in the immediate vicinity, in the season (May-Sep, daily 10:00-18:00) at beach access 10 (approx. 300 m away) Parking spaces for people with disabilities: two parking spaces, approx. 40 m away (at Strandweg 1) Beach facilities: yes Accessibility/arrival: from Bad Doberan via the L12 highway in the direction of Warnemünde, from the A20 via the highway feeder road to Warnemünde Water rescue: The beach sections 1 to 24 in Warnemünde are guarded by the lifeguards of the DRK water rescue service during the season from May 15 to September 15. Several lifeguards work here on a voluntary basis to ensure the safety of bathers.
