Out and About with the Ranger - Red Deer Rutting Season

At the height of late summer, coinciding with the red deer’s mating season, this excursion offers you the chance to witness the spectacular rut and learn a great deal about wildlife and the forest in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. From the meeting point, participants will continue the journey in their own cars or by carpooling. We recommend weatherproof and dark clothing, a stool, and binoculars.
