Riding or leading horses on Prerow beach is not permitted. Exceptions for certain sections and periods may be granted by the municipality upon application to local riding stables. On the Darß you will find everything you need for a vacation with a horse: miles of forest paths, endless meadows and natural romantic beaches. Riding stables in the vicinity of Prerow also offer guided tours and pony rides for children.

On the approximately 15-kilometre hike, we explore the diverse habitats in the Western Pomerania Lagoon National Park and learn about the background to past and present uses of these sensitive landscapes.
