Pasewalk Fire Department Museum

Pasewalk Fire Department Museum The Fire Department Museum is located on the grounds of the district fire department headquarters. Since 1998, the history of firefighting—particularly in the Vorpommern region—has been showcased across a total of 560 square meters of exhibition space. The oldest exhibit is a tub pump (circa 1800) from Pasewalk. Large-scale firefighting equipment is on display in the garages.

At KunstgARTen Pasewalk you will find contemporary art and exhibitions of various installations. Via Klosterstraße and past the garage complexes you reach the Kunstgarten Pasewalk, which is located directly on the Uecker and in the immediate vicinity of the water hiking rest area. The garden was developed in 2005 on a 5-hectare meadow as part of the design of the Uecker floodplain landscape to promote contemporary art and garden culture.

The Lindenbad in Pasewalk is an outdoor pool that offers a wide range of activities both in and out of the water. When summer temperatures rise, children and parents can cool off at the Lindenbad in Pasewalk. On the sunbathing lawns, families enjoy basking in the sun. They pass the time playing entertaining card and board games, browsing through a book, or engaging in lively conversation. The water temperature in the pools remains a constant 22 °C, making a dip in the water very pleasant even on cooler days. A special attraction for children at the Lindenbad in Pasewalk is the large water slide. They whiz down the slide for more than 70 meters and land happily in the water. In the lazy river, some try their hand at swimming against the current, while others simply let themselves drift with the flow. For the youngest visitors, there’s a wading pool at the Lindenbad in Pasewalk. While the kids splash around happily in the water, parents make themselves comfortable on the benches surrounding the pool and keep an eye on their children from there. After a good swim, the children enthusiastically take over the playground at the outdoor pool. For a quick snack, the snack bar at Lindenbad Pasewalk offers light meals, drinks, and, of course, ice cream for families.

Gliders and helicopters, among other aircraft, land at the Pasewalk-Franzfelde special-use airfield. The Pasewalk airfield is located in the Franzfelde district, directly on the B 109. The 90-hectare site features a 900-meter-long paved runway, approved for gliding, powered flight up to 5.7 metric tons, ultralight flight, skydiving, helicopters, model aircraft, hot-air balloons, and airships. Sightseeing flights are available through the Uecker-Randow-Region Sports Club.

The Pasewalk water hiking rest area is an idyllically situated rest area with showers, toilets, bike hire and repair. It is located directly on the Berlin-Usedom long-distance cycle path and offers an idyllic spot to spend the night in your own tent. Via Klosterstraße, you can reach the idyllic water hiking rest area, which is only a 5-minute walk from the center of Pasewalk. Here you will find a quiet spot to spend the night in your own tent. There are showers and toilets, a rest area and a display board with information about the region. The KunstgARTen Pasewalk is located in the immediate vicinity.
