Water hiking rest area with boat rental At river kilometer 46 of the Müritz-Elde waterway lies our harbor facility and the jetty directly on the B191 below Neustadt-Glewe Castle. You can hire canoes and kayaks from us. There are group and day offers as well as a pick-up and drop-off service for the boats. Organizing a barbecue evening for a relaxed end to a boat tour is also no problem for the team on site. Or hire an Eldecamper - the "caravan for the water".

The oldest preserved fortified castle in Mecklenburg is located in Neustadt-Glewe. In the museum, visitors of all ages can not only visit the tower with its deep dungeon, the guard and defense room and the restored living room, but also learn interesting facts about life in the castle and the town. The castle is also home to the tourist information office and the castle restaurant.
