The local history museum is located at the Kölpinsee stop. Here you can see lots of interesting facts about the history of the seaside resort of Kölpinsee and the farming and fishing village of Loddin.
The village of "Colpin" was first mentioned in a document in 1610. The small museum informs visitors about the development of the village, which experienced its boom at the end of the 19th century with the development of the seaside resorts on the Baltic coast. The exhibition includes the areas of agriculture, fishing, crafts and the development of the seaside resort and amber, whose rich deposits on its beaches gave the village of Kölpinsee its name "Amber Spa".
