Not far from Szczecin, surrounded by vast rolling fields and meadows, lies the Grüne Gänsehof Ladenthin. There, we—Astrid Grün and Emanuel Reim—raise geese and cattle in a way that respects their natural needs. A wide variety of our own products are sold in the farm store and can be picked up on set dates.
Steakhouse-Quality Beef
During the spring and late summer months, you can pre-order fresh beef from locally sourced slaughter. Three herds of the hardy regional breed “Uckermärker” are raised according to high standards of animal welfare: calves are raised with their mothers until they are 6 months old, housed on straw with plenty of natural light, and provided with spacious resting areas and outdoor access.
Pickup dates for pre-orders are always on Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and are regularly posted on our website. You’re welcome to arrange an alternative pickup time with us. We’ll store your meat in our store’s freezer until then.
The Best for the Holidays
During the Advent and Christmas season, you can pre-order a delicious, humanely raised Christmas goose (ready to cook) with a slaughter weight of approximately 4–5 kg, including giblets.
Individual cuts of goose, such as legs, breast, liver, confit goose stomach in a jar, or goose offal, are also part of our selection. The goose meat is processed into a variety of delicious, unique products: goose salami as a raw sausage with fennel or as a cooked salami with green pepper, rillettes, or goose liver sausage with prunes. Even the goose fat is used to make a wonderfully skin-friendly soap.
