The sandy beach at Gollwitz is not very crowded and offers ideal conditions for sunbathing, especially for families with children, thanks to the shallow water.
The Gollwitz beach is an insider tip among nature lovers and parents with very young children. Due to its close proximity to the offshore bird sanctuary island of Langenwerder, there are unique opportunities to observe rare bird species, even from your beach chair. A small adventure playground in the form of a beached pirate ship and a volleyball net allow not only young guests to really let off steam here.
The deep waters of the Baltic Sea begin about 100 meters from the sandbank. Due to the shallow water in front of the beach, there is no surveillance. There is a small kiosk and sanitary facilities on site.
