Fish-Canoe-Pass
● Fürstenberg/Havel
The fish canoe pass (canoe slide) is an adventurous attraction in Fürstenberg/Havel. Canoeists and fish can travel unhindered along an arm of the Havel from the Röblin to the Schwedtsee and vice versa.
This bypasses the lock and the stretch used by motorboats. The bristle-covered pass overcomes a height difference of 1.60 m.
And it's that easy: Arrive, stow your paddle, then let yourself drift through the pass with the moderate current and pick up speed again at the end of the approximately 50-metre journey using your own muscle power. You shouldn't miss out on this fun when you visit the Water City!
In the opposite direction, i.e. "up the Havel", the boats can be paddled from the parallel walkway. Thanks to the fish canoe pass, the boats can land directly in the town center of Fürstenberg, where there is a water hiking rest area. It is only 50 meters to the historic market and the tourist information office.
