Café Marie and the associated chocolaterie are located in the former Ratskeller in Boizenburg and are run by Lebenshilfewerk Hagenow. Café Marie is not only an attractive meeting place on the historic market square, but also a new field of work for ten people with disabilities. We are a partner of the UNESCO Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve and are actively committed to sustainable regional development in the biosphere region!
Café Marie invites you to relax, meet friends and enjoy yourself. Here you can watch the friendly team baking, making the finest chocolate products or preparing delicious savory snacks.
The team is led by master confectioner Tanja Riekhoff and chef Dörte Schröder.
And if you would like to make your own chocolate temptations, we will be happy to show you how in one of our manufacturing workshops.
