Lake Barnin is ideal for fishing and swimming.
The bathing beach is equipped with a spacious sunbathing lawn, a children's playground and a bathing jetty with a barrier for non-swimmers. Numerous events are held by clubs on the adjacent lakeside stage during the summer season. Water hikers have an ideal starting point for canoes here and can also spend the night in a tent. The canoe route leads from here across Lake Barnin to the outlet of the Warnow and then further along this river.
