Bahlenhüschen forest barn
● Bahlenhüschen
In the Lewitz village of Bahlenhüschen, an old forestry barn has been lovingly reconstructed. The barn doors are regularly opened to visitors for numerous events.
The Bahlenhüschen forestry barn dates back to 1770, but has since been reconstructed. Today, the Forstscheune is a popular festival and celebration venue. The annual Christmas market and the charcoal burner festival, which takes place every two years, are particularly popular with locals and guests. The barn can also be booked for family celebrations.
The Forstscheune is also the headquarters of the Forstscheune Bahlenhüschen e.V. association, which is particularly dedicated to connecting people, nature, history, the environment and the local area.
You can find out more about the association's activities and events on the association's website.
